They help individuals improve their skills in areas such as project management, Office 365, and other career-related concepts. Through coaching and personalized guidance, they support clients in navigating their career goals, building valuable skills, and staying motivated throughout their learning journey.
Role Overview
The Career Development Coach will engage with clients daily, provide personalized coaching, and help ensure they remain motivated and on track toward their professional development goals.
This role will work closely with clients to understand their individual needs and develop tailored study plans aligned with their goals and timelines. The Career Development Coach will provide guidance across topics such as Office 365, project management, and broader career concepts while maintaining consistent communication and tracking client progress.
Location
Fully Remote (Work from Home) | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST
Key Responsibilities
Client Meetings & Coaching
Meet with clients daily and provide personalized coaching and support.
Develop study plans tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and timelines.
Keep clients encouraged, motivated, and on track with their learning objectives.
Recognize client needs and adjust coaching strategies when necessary to help them succeed.
Career Development Support
Provide guidance on career concepts such as Office 365 skills, project management skills, and other professional development topics.
Engage in value-based conversations focused on helping clients achieve their career goals and improve their skills.
Share insights, advice, and encouragement to help clients remain on track with their career advancement plans.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Maintain strong relationships with clients and understand their evolving needs.
Maintain consistent communication with clients.
Use RingCentral for dialer communications, follow-ups, and tracking client progress.
Regularly update and engage stakeholders regarding client progress and achievements.
Technical Proficiency & Tool Usage
Use Office 365, Trello, Zoom, and the company’s proprietary learning platform.
Help ensure clients are comfortable using the tools required for their training and career development.
Manage client data and communication through the learning platform.
Mentorship & Potential Growth
Support clients with a focus on helping them achieve their career goals.
Develop toward the potential opportunity to move into a mentorship position over time.
Qualifications
Experience
2+ years of experience in client-facing roles such as account management, coaching, or customer success.
Experience managing client relationships and recognizing client needs.
Experience with Office 365, project management skills, and general career development concepts.
Familiarity with proprietary learning platforms is a plus.
Skills
Proficiency with Office 365, Trello, Zoom, RingCentral, and other collaboration platforms.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to engage and motivate clients.
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and schedules.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
Willingness to grow into a mentorship role over time.
