We work directly with different industries including Automotive, Energy, Aeronautics, Banking & Insurance, Telecom & Multimedia, and Rail; offering services ranging from project design development to test/validation, programming, implementation, and manufacturing.
ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for a CFD Analyst and a FEA Analyst who will contribute to the development of an Iron Air Battery, a large-scale energy storage solution, through advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The goal is to ensure the performance, safety, and durability of mechanical, thermal, and airflow components, optimizing the design for scalability and efficiency in grid-level applications.

🕒 Experience Level: CFD Analyst (5+ years) / FEA Analyst (+3 years)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform CFD simulations to analyze fluid behavior, heat transfer, and pressure distribution in the battery system.
- Conduct FEA analyses to evaluate structural strength, fatigue, and durability of critical components.
- Optimize designs for thermal efficiency, mechanical integrity, and weight reduction.
- Validate models through experimental testing and real-world data comparison.
- Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and design teams to integrate analysis results into product development.
- Generate technical reports with recommendations for design improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, UL, IEC).
Requirements
Must‑Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering fields.
- Heat transfer and fluid dynamics knowledge
- 3+ years of experience in ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, STAR-CCM+ for fluid dynamics analyses
- 3+ years of experience in ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, Nastran, SolidWorks Simulation for static/dynamic analysis.
- Ability to Participate in design review meetings and support the creation of technical specifications to align analyses with project goals.
- English level B2–C1.
Preferred Skills
- Multiphysics simulations (CFD-FEA coupling)
- Knowledge of iron-air batteries,
- Knowledge of NFPA 69
- Knowledge of IEC 62485
- Expertise with Python/MATLAB
