The listing

As a Sr. Manager of Partnership Enablement, you will have the rare chance to build and lead a sales enablement function from the ground up, shaping how every rep sells and putting your fingerprints on a program that touches every deal we close. You'll work directly with senior sales leaders, with real latitude to decide what good looks like and the visibility to prove it out.

Every rep you train and every motion you sharpen extends Riverside Insights' mission to grow the potential in every student — helping the districts and educators we serve find the right assessments faster and with more confidence.

You'll own the full sales enablement function: eliciting and codifying sales motions directly from sales leadership, building the training that makes those motions stick, and measuring both learning and field adherence in ways sales leadership agrees predict quota attainment. You'll also build and lead a small enablement team and run a recurring cadence of data-driven recommendations for sales leadership.

What you'll do:

  • Elicit and codify the sales motion for each product family directly from sales leadership (what reps need to know and do, including positioning, competitive differentiation, and pricing) and keep it current as products and pricing evolve.
  • Design and deliver rep enablement using whatever mix of formats builds readiness most effectively, documented as a living reference reps can pull up mid-deal, not a one-time deck.
  • Build a training efficacy framework that goes beyond attendance or completion, gain sales leadership agreement on it, and hold the team to the thresholds it sets.
  • Build a field adherence framework tied directly to revenue outcomes (quota attainment, win rate, cycle time), and report quarter over quarter progress toward reps tracking to quota.
  • Run a recurring enablement performance cadence for sales leadership, converting data into specific recommendations and tracking every committed action to completion.
  • Hire, coach, and set clear scorecards for a small enablement team so they're fully equipped to execute against these goals.

You'll partner closely with sales leadership and Product. This role has one direct report.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Has built sales enablement programming from the ground up and has led a sales enablement team.
  • Strong elicitation skills; able to draw out and formalize what sales leaders already expect from reps rather than defining a motion independently and seeking approval after the fact.
  • Cross-functional influence without direct authority; comfortable getting alignment from both sales leadership and Product.
  • Business and product acumen strong enough to translate pricing, positioning, and competitive dynamics into rep-ready guidance.
  • Experience designing measurement frameworks (training efficacy and/or field adherence) that tie back to revenue outcomes rather than activity or completion metrics.
  • Executive communication skills; able to turn enablement data into clear, actionable recommendations for sales leadership.
  • People leadership experience, including setting scorecards and closing capability gaps on a small team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience instrumenting CRM or deal-review data to track field adherence to a defined sales motion.
  • Background partnering with sales leadership in a B2B or subscription revenue environment.
  • Ed tech or assessment industry experience is not required for this role.

Physical Requirements

  • Remote
  • Travel 1–2 times a year for off-site team meetings or conference.
  • May require stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods.
