The business has built its reputation around delivering a distinctive dining experience, combining quality food, strong service, and a lively venue environment. Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Administrator to provide reliable day-to-day HR administration and support across a multi-site Australian business.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be a key first point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR enquiries, processes, documentation, and systems. You will support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to offboarding, while maintaining accurate employee records and supporting employment compliance.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, HR systems, and multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to managers, franchise partners, and employees across the business.
  • Manage HR documentation, employment contracts, employee records, templates, and HR systems including TANDA and Humanforce.
  • Coordinate HR, compliance, and system audits, including Award/pay rate updates and required follow-ups.
  • Support Australian employment compliance, including Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, workplace policies, and WorkCover/claims administration.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, engagement surveys, retention, career development, recognition, and other People & Culture initiatives.
  • Maintain organisational charts, position descriptions, workplace access/security records, and general Support Office administration.
  • Coordinate visa and sponsorship administration, including documentation, costs, key dates, employee liaison, and maintaining efficient and effective communication with external migration advisors.
  • Assist with employee relations investigations, ensuring an accurate investigation process is followed, and all information is documented appropriately
  • Develop HR resources and provide guidance/training on policies, systems, compliance, and employment processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate records, escalating complex or high-risk matters to the HR Manager.
  • Assist with broader HR and People & Culture projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in HR Administration, HR Coordination, People & Culture, or a similar role.
  • Experience supporting Australian businesses and a solid understanding of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards.
  • Experience working in a multi-site, hospitality, retail, franchise, or similarly fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience with HR/workforce management systems such as TANDA or Humanforce.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Monday.com, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety and WorkCover processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with managers and employees across different locations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Practical, proactive, and solutions-focused approach to HR administration.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
