About the Role

This is where you come in. Below, you’ll find what this role is all about—the impact you’ll drive, the challenges you’ll tackle, and what it takes to thrive at Addi. If you’re ready to be part of something big, keep reading.

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Serve as the single accountable owner for Addi’s financial-systems controls framework across all platforms, subledgers, and data pipelines. This role is responsible for establishing a bank-aligned IT General Controls (ITGC) environment fully compliant with SFC standards, designing robust governance and human-in-the-loop mechanisms for AI-driven financial workflows, and laying a capital-markets-ready operational foundation that supports Addi's regulatory transition and bank spin-off at scale.

What you will do

  • External Audit & Regulatory Reliance: Build and document an audit-ready control framework across key systems, enabling external auditors and regulatory bodies to transition toward controls-reliance testing.

  • Segregation of Duties & Access Control: Design and enforce a comprehensive access control framework across enterprise systems, ensuring automated review cycles and strict conflict mitigation.

  • AI Process Governance & Oversight: Operationalize a governance model for AI-driven financial workflows, establishing human-in-the-loop accountability, audit logs, and continuous monitoring.

  • System Change & Integration Gatekeeping: Enforce mandatory control sign-offs for all new system integrations, products, and release deployments prior to production release.

  • AI-Assisted Controls Deployment: Implement automated compliance tools for continuous monitoring, anomaly detection, and evidence collection at scale.

  • Corporate Structure & Licensing Readiness: Finalize internal control environments across operating entities, ensuring full alignment with applicable regulatory and risk management frameworks to support future corporate transitions.

What we’re looking for

  • Regulated-Entity Controls Expertise: Deep experience in IT General Controls (ITGC), financial systems audit, and internal controls, including direct experience working within or auditing supervised financial institutions.

  • Regulatory & Audit Fluency: Working knowledge of local regulatory expectations and risk management frameworks, with a track record of defending control environments to external auditors and regulatory inspectors.

  • Greenfield Builder Mindset: Proven ability to build internal control frameworks, access matrices, and change-management governance from scratch in fast-paced environments.

  • AI Fluency & Automated Governance: Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate documentation, alongside the ability to define human-in-the-loop accountability for automated workflows.

  • Systems & Enterprise Architecture Depth: Practical experience designing role-based access controls (RBAC) and change management across multi-entity enterprise systems and financial subledgers.

  • Bilingual Communication: Native fluency in Spanish for local regulatory interactions paired with professional English proficiency for global reporting.
