Role overview
Digital Media Management (DMM), a Keywords Studios company, is a leading full-service digital agency, content studio and incubator specialising in social-first, “always-entertaining” marketing. DMM works with movie studios, television networks, game developers & publishers, streaming services and consumer brands to create groundbreaking social media campaigns via fan activations, innovative content creation, results-driven paid media planning, and strategic influencer-brand partnerships.
A Project Manager at DMM is responsible for project managing and producing a wide range of projects across multiple disciplines and platforms. They work with various teams, from Strategy & Creative, to Design & Motion, across different types of social content, such as performance marketing videos & statics, live action activations & productions, always-on social content and longer form content.
They should have a strong understanding of roles and capabilities across all departments, and they should be able to identify specific skill sets required for each account and project. The role requires strong communication and organisational skills. They need to have a keen eye for detail and the flexibility to pivot depending on the changing nature of the business, accounts or projects. They are expected to have experience working with large teams on integrated campaigns and experience working with smaller, agile teams on fast turnaround projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end producing and project management on assigned accounts, including budget creation and management, schedule creation and management, execution and delivery
- Lead and work alongside Creative and Production teams to ensure projects are produced to a high standard, delivered on time and within agreed budget
- Coordinate communication, requests and project requirements with clients, either direct or via client servicing team
- Proactively troubleshoot to prevent roadblocks for creative and production teams at every stage of project lifecycle
- Arrange briefings, plan, scope and quote projects, assign operators, lead reviews, track costs and manage project progress
- Monitor burn rate, report and track projects in Airtable
- Manage quality control process on assigned accounts and projects and proactively troubleshoot to prevent roadblocks for creative and production teams at every stage of project lifecycle
- Organise and book resource on own projects in collaboration with wider PM team
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of internal + external talents and their abilities, identify resource gaps and liaise and lead third party vendors / freelancers where relevant
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in post-production or project management, either at a production house or in-house at an agency
- Experience managing full project lifecycle across multi functional functional campaigns and projects
- Strong understanding of Design & Motion Graphics, as well as the Post-Production process across Editing, VFX and Sound
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve, pivot and implement solutions
- Experience managing a team and resource planning
- Agency or production house experience. Social Media experience a bonus
- Strong communicator and collaborator
- Experience with project and resource management tools, such as Airtable
- Technical understanding of various production software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
- Experience with shoot production or 3D production is a bonus
- Understanding of encoding/transcoding, codecs, video formats, file types, frame rates, resolutions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
- Ability to interact with co-workers effectively and appropriately at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to pick up challenging projects at any phase, at lightning speed and with enthusiasm
