We are looking for a Junior Sales Assistant Coordinator to support a U.S.-based sales operation in a remote, part-time capacity. You will serve as an important first point of contact for incoming customer inquiries while helping manage leads, quotes, bids, follow-ups, and sales pipeline activity.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, persistent, and comfortable communicating professionally with U.S. customers by phone and email.
Duties / Task to perform
- Answer inbound customer calls promptly and professionally, providing a positive first impression.
- Capture and qualify new customer inquiries and route them to the appropriate sales team member.
- Distribute approved quotes and proposals and confirm successful receipt with customers.
- Conduct proactive phone and email follow-ups on open quotes according to established schedules.
- Engage with customers to clarify questions, understand timing, address objections, and establish clear next steps.
- Research potential bid opportunities through relevant platforms and identify prospects for review.
- Coordinate approved bid submissions while ensuring deadlines and applicable requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including customer notes, opportunity statuses, and next-action dates.
- Organize and monitor the sales pipeline to ensure leads and opportunities receive timely follow-up.
- Escalate complex customer needs and highly qualified opportunities requiring advanced sales or technical expertise.
- Participate in regular sales check-ins and pipeline reviews to communicate priorities, challenges, and next steps.
Requirements
- Junior-level experience in sales coordination, inside sales, customer service, bid coordination, or a related role.
- Exceptional spoken and written English, particularly for professional phone and email communication.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and persistent approach to customer follow-up and pipeline management.
- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with U.S. customers across different industries.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to move open opportunities toward a defined next step.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and customer interactions within structured workflows.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with strong time-management skills.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional remote workspace.
- Familiarity with CRM software is highly desirable.
- Comfortable using cloud-based communication, scheduling, document-management, and sales-support tools.
- Willingness to learn established sales processes and follow documented workflows.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (EST)
