As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Data Insights and Reporting (DIRT) team at Bitwarden, your work will directly impact how enterprise administrators understand the security posture of their organizations. You'll build the reports, dashboards, and integrations that turn vault data and activity into actionable intelligence, surfacing at-risk credentials, mapping who has access to what, protecting users from phishing attacks directly in the browser, and streaming events into the SIEM and collaboration tools security teams already rely on. This role combines deep front-end craft, backend API and data work, and the challenge of building meaningful insights on top of a zero-knowledge, end-to-end encrypted product.
Working within Bitwarden's open-source ecosystem, you'll collaborate with a passionate community dedicated to transparency and trust in security software while contributing to our mission of making security accessible to everyone.
This is an all-remote team and we're looking for someone located in the U.S. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time.

- Take ownership of your work, partnering with QA to ensure that the appropriate parts of the application are tested and that tests are complete
- Design and evolve APIs, data models, and encrypted report structures that hold up to real enterprise-scale data
- Review PRs and provide constructive, pointed feedback to help fellow team members grow
- Collaborate with the Bitwarden open-source community to review community contributions and address issues in GitHub

- Experience building features for enterprise customers where auditability, permissions, and compliance matter
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset with excellent communication skills
