Currently, Bounteous is searching for a Vice President of Digital Delivery to add to our fast-growing team. Successful candidates bring significant experience leading digital delivery organizations across complex product, platform, and transformation programs, and are equally comfortable setting delivery strategy and stepping into a program that needs help. You'll be responsible for the health, quality, and economics of a portfolio of digital work delivered for some of the world's most recognized consumer brands — spanning loyalty and CRM, commerce and omni-channel experiences, customer data and analytics, product engineering, and a growing portfolio of AI-enabled capabilities.

This is a technical leadership role, not a program administration role. The right candidate holds a credible technical point of view in solution, sequencing, and estimation conversations, can challenge an approach that will not survive contact with production, and owns the engineering-adjacent risks that determine whether a program lands. You will operate as a player coach — leading the delivery organization while staying close enough to the work to be a genuine partner to your teams, your clients, and your peers in a global delivery model that spans North America and India.

Information Security Responsibilities

Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols

Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets

Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities

Develop and execute the delivery strategy for the business unit in North America, to achieve Bountoeus’ business and technology objectives

Oversee end-to-end delivery of digital products, platforms, applications, and customer-facing services, from planning through launch and continuous improvement, leading on-time, on-budget delivery across the portfolio with high client and team satisfaction

Set delivery models, standards, and performance expectations across all digital initiatives, continuously optimizing the delivery model (Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Lean, product-led, or hybrid) to standardize process while preserving flexibility across client and technology environments

Establish and continuously improve technical delivery and governance standards, covering architecture feasibility, integration and data dependencies, environment and release readiness, performance, scalability, production supportability, security, and operational readiness, so PMs can manage risk end-to-end and initiatives meet requirements

Integrate AI and intelligent automation into the lifecycle (development, testing, deployment, delivery management), evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and processes that improve delivery speed, quality, and scalability

Establish delivery KPIs covering speed, predictability, quality, productivity, cost, and business value, and monitor performance across the portfolio

Oversee programs across all Bounteous capabilities, including platform implementations (such as Adobe and Salesforce), AI enablement and maturity programs, commerce and loyalty platforms, customer data and analytics projects, point-of-sale and in-store integrations, and multi-site rollouts

Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing delivery organization, fostering accountability to client satisfaction among all team members

Manage direct reports and larger delivery team: project oversight, performance management, goal setting, career pathing, and conflict resolutionin a mature, productive, and positive manner

Partner with India-based delivery leadership to operate one delivery model with shared standards across regions

Raise the technical fluency of the delivery organization so leaders can hold their own in solution and estimation conversations

Coach and mentor team members, and foster a collaborative environment across delivery teams

Communicate effectively across audiences, from engineers to client executives

Serve as the executive escalation point for major accounts, leading recovery plans where programs need intervention

Ensure estimates are technically grounded, reflecting what the work requires

Ability to understand a complex technical problem and drive toward a solution by building consensus within the team

Partner with Client Partners and Business Development to scope, size, and solution new opportunities

Own statement of work review, change request governance, and contract and delivery risk

Proactively identify execution risks, bottlenecks, dependencies, and capacity constraints before they become escalations

Own delivery economics, including margin performance against estimate and forecast accuracy

Own achievement of Client Satisfaction (CSAT) metrics for Delivery-led accounts (accounts for which no Client Partner is assigned)

Own net revenue retention (NRR) for Delivery-led accounts

Develop domain expertise in our clients' business space to drive results

Manage staffing decisions, utilization, bench, and capacity planning across the portfolio, with the support of a direct report Resource Manager

Partner with Resource Management and Talent Acquisition to convert delivery demand into fulfilled roles, and set the bar for who is placed on what

Leverage current project and resource management systems to make data-driven decisions and provide reporting as needed

Preferred Qualifications

BS/BA in a relevant program, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree a plus
12+ years of progressive experience in digital delivery, technology, product, or program management
Significant experience leading complex digital products, platforms, programs, or transformation initiatives
Several years of experience working as a consultant or in an agency environment
Proven track record across a hybrid model spanning agency or consultancy work, product engineering, and enterprise platform implementation
Experience scaling delivery organizations and owning delivery across a large portfolio of concurrent programs
Experience delivering large, complex digital programs (multi-million dollar, multi-year)
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Lean, product management, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Demonstrated experience with AI, automation, and technology-enabled operational improvement
Familiarity with the marketing and experience technology ecosystem (Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, customer data and analytics platforms, and commerce and loyalty systems)
Exposure to consumer and retail technology ecosystems, including omni-channel platforms and point-of-sale systems, a plus
Experience managing distributed and global teams
In-depth understanding of the digital development process and technologies
Experience with Confluence / JIRA or equivalent tools for software development
Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organizational leadership capability
CSM, PMP, SAFe, or cloud certifications are a plus
Some travel may be required

The range listed reflects the base salary for this role. Individual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs. The mid-range to maximum of the salary range is generally reserved for individuals who are highly experienced in the role. This position is also eligible to participate in Bounteous' Business Development Commission plan, with details provided during the interview process.
