Role Summary
What You Will Do
- Own the Americas Sales Finance partnership, setting the financial agenda across topline growth, P&L performance, forecast accuracy, investment tradeoffs, and business risks and opportunities.
- Lead the Americas annual operating plan, including headcount, quota capacity, sales compensation, commissions, and investment planning, ensuring resources are aligned to company strategy and expected returns.
- Own the Americas forecast story, connecting pipeline, bookings, renewals, churn, productivity, channel performance, and sales execution into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
- Provide financial leadership on deal economics, pricing decisions, promotional investments, and other commercial initiatives, ensuring decisions balance growth, profitability, risk, and long-term customer value.
- Partner with Sales and Renewal Sales leaders to define common goals, align on key performance indicators, identify performance gaps, and drive joint accountability for regional outcomes.
- Build decision-ready financial models that inform sales strategy, pricing, go-to-market planning, productivity targets, and resource allocation across direct, channel, and partner-led motions.
- Identify and lead opportunities to improve the Americas finance operating model, strengthening forecast discipline, decision quality, process efficiency, and the strategic value Finance brings to the business.
- Lead or influence global Sales Finance initiatives that improve planning, forecasting, reporting consistency, and operating effectiveness across regions.
What You Will Bring
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Sales Finance, GTM Finance, or commercial finance roles with direct partnership to senior sales leadership.
- Strong experience partnering with go-to-market teams, including Field Sales, Channel Sales, and Customer Success, to shape revenue forecasts, performance narratives, operating plans, and investment decisions.
- Proven track record in FP&A and Sales Finance roles within high-growth or technology-driven companies.
- Deep understanding of sales motions, territory and quota planning, commissions, pipeline conversion, renewals, churn, channel economics, and the metrics and tools used to manage sales performance.
- Strong track record of cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration, effectively partnering with theatre Sales Finance teams, Worldwide Sales Finance, and Corporate FP&A to drive alignment and consistency in planning and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage AI and automation to drive efficient analysis and better decision-making.
- Proactive communicator with a highly collaborative working style, skilled in bringing together diverse perspectives to solve complex business challenges.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, with the judgment to challenge assumptions, frame tradeoffs, and influence enterprise-level decisions through clear financial insight.
- Comfortable working across U.S. time zones, with flexibility to support West Coast leaders and business needs
