Modivcare is looking for an experienced Program Manager IV to join our team. In this role, you will lead complex, large-scale programs and cross-functional transformation initiatives that support key strategic objectives. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and work with leaders and external vendors to drive successful delivery.


This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on strategic initiatives and measurable business outcomes across Modivcare. You will help ensure teams have the resources, alignment, and accountability needed to deliver complex programs successfully.


We're looking for a results-driven program management professional who can navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and influence across teams without direct authority. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable leading large-scale transformation initiatives and strategic vendor relationships.


You will...

  • Leads large-scale, complex, cross-functional transformation programs and initiatives consisting of multiple concurrent and interdependent workstreams that support strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Tracks progress of projects and programs against timelines, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifies and manages risks, issues, dependencies, resource constraints, budgets, and forecasts; develops mitigation and contingency plans and drives preventative action before program outcomes are impacted.
  • Prepares strategic analysis of potential business and/or operational opportunities as needed.
  • Creates and maintains integrated program plans across business, product, technology, operations, vendors, and other participating functions; ensures project teams create and maintain appropriate deliverables while following project management standards.
  • Identifies stakeholder needs and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure participating teams have the resources, capacity, decisions, and alignment required to meet commitments and program outcomes.
  • Serves as the escalation point for program issues and risks. Anticipates emerging issues, works directly with project teams and vendors to resolve barriers, and develops and drives risk mitigation plans before delivery is impacted.
  • Coordinates and drives work across multiple functions and workstreams, managing cross-team dependencies, commitments, and accountability to ensure successful delivery.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with strategic vendors and external partners; manages vendor commitments, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, risks, and performance against contractual expectations.
  • Holds vendors accountable for agreed-upon outcomes while maintaining productive, collaborative relationships and coordinating vendor activities within the integrated program plan.
  • Leads business, technology, operational, cost-center, and/or organizational transformation initiatives, translating transformation strategy into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.
  • Works with leadership to track, deliver and provide updates on progress of strategic objectives.
  • Creates meaningful dashboards and concise executive-level communications regarding program health, accomplishments, risks, decisions, financials, dependencies, and upcoming milestones. Works with teams to create reports for ongoing analytics and measurement of outcomes post implementation.
  • Plans, coordinates, and keeps meeting content focused and relevant.
  • Provides leaders with support and recommendations to improve performance and teamwork.
  • Works with leadership to assess program and project risks, presents impact and recommended actions, and escalates decisions as needed.
  • May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.


We are excited to speak to someone with...

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) plus years of progressive Program or Project Management experience, including demonstrated success leading complex, large-scale, cross-functional enterprise initiatives.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including cost-center, business, technology, operational, and/or organizational transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external vendors, strategic partners, and vendor delivery accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent and interdependent workstreams across business and technology organizations.
  • Strong program planning, governance, risk management, financial management, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear decisions and actions.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, judgment, and time-management skills with demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges and take proactive action.
  • Ability to prioritize a large number of competing priorities and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with all levels within the organization and with external vendors and strategic partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in complex, fast-paced environments with ambiguity, competing priorities, and significant cross-functional dependencies.
  • Must be results driven with demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent and interdependent workstreams, influence without direct authority, drive accountability, and use sound judgment when priorities conflict.
  • Proficiency with MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Smartsheet and Tableau a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information in a professional and discrete way.
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with others as well as manage conflict.
  • Can make critical decisions with little direction while following company policies and guidelines.
  • Quick to execute ad-hoc projects and adapt to change.
  • Ability to maintain positivity, transparency, and foster collaboration.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams in multiple locations.

Salary: $108,000-$140,000

This role is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
