Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Full-Time | Remote | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year
This position is open to an LMFT licensed in Vermont who is comfortable managing a regular caseload in a remote setting. The work centers on helping clients address concerns involving marriage, family relationships, communication, parenting, and major changes at home. You will be responsible for your own scheduled sessions and clinical records while working within established practice standards.
What the Role Includes
- Conducting virtual sessions with individuals, couples, and families
- Exploring relationship patterns and concerns affecting the household
- Helping clients work through conflict, communication issues, and family changes
- Setting a clear direction for therapy based on the issues discussed in session
- Keeping clinical notes and records organized and current
- Consulting with other providers when a case requires additional input
- Arranging referrals when services outside your scope are needed
- Meeting Vermont licensing, confidentiality, and ethical requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field
- Active LMFT license in Vermont
- Experience providing therapy to couples and families
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
