Your Role
As a Technology Program Manager, you will lead the strategy, planning, execution, and operationalization of cross-functional technology initiatives that support both internal operations and external clients. You will serve as a critical link between business, clinical, operational, and technology teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with organizational priorities and deliver measurable business value.
In addition to program leadership, you will facilitate business analysis activities, lead process and workflow design efforts, and support product management functions. You will lead project teams, proactively identify risks, and work with key stakeholders to mitigate those risks and any potential downstream impacts. You will demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, confidence, and a proactive work ethic.
Primary Functions of the Technology Program Manager Include:
Program & Project Leadership
- Lead complex technology programs from initiation through implementation, operational transition, and post-launch stabilization.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, delivery roadmaps, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Manage scope, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and change control.
- Establish program governance, facilitate decision-making, and deliver concise executive status reporting.
- Coordinate testing, deployment, training, implementation readiness, and post-launch support across business and technology teams.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Lead discovery, requirements-gathering, workflow-design, and solution-design sessions with business, clinical, and technology stakeholders.
- Document current-state and future-state workflows, business rules, decision logic, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and operational requirements.
- Translate business and clinical needs into requirements that technology teams can design, build, test, and implement.
- Validate proposed solutions with business and technology stakeholders before development and deployment.
- Identify and define opportunities to improve workflows through standardization, automation, or technology-enabled process changes.
Product & Platform Support
- Partner with business leaders and Product Owners to define platform roadmaps and prioritize enhancements.
- Manage enhancement intake, backlog refinement, prioritization, and stakeholder approval.
- Evaluate enhancement requests based on business value, operational impact, strategic alignment, and technical feasibility.
- Monitor platform adoption, performance, and value realization after implementation.
- Manage vendor deliverables, escalated issues, and platform enhancements.
Stakeholder Management & Organizational Leadership
- Build strong relationships across Clinical Operations, Technology, Market Operations, Finance, Product, Data, and external partners.
- Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution across competing priorities.
- Communicate effectively with executive leaders, operational teams, and technology stakeholders.
- Influence outcomes through collaboration, relationship building, and strategic thinking.
- Foster alignment around organizational goals, priorities, and expected outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing complex technical projects or programs, including enterprise initiatives with executive visibility.
- 3+ years of experience applying Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in healthcare operations, population health, value-based care, clinical workflows, or provider data management.
- Experience supporting AI, automation, analytics, or digital-transformation initiatives.
- Experience facilitating requirements-gathering, workflow-analysis, process-mapping, and solution-design sessions.
- Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and validating those requirements with business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to assess operational processes and identify opportunities for technology-enabled improvement.
- Ability to build relationships, influence senior leaders, navigate ambiguity, and drive outcomes without formal authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor information for executive, technical, clinical, and operational audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Teams.
- Proficiency with project and work management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or comparable platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
The base pay range for this role is $129,700.00 - $154,350.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Honest. Eligible roles also qualify for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
