About OpenEvidence
OpenEvidence is the most widely used clinical decision support platform among U.S. clinicians. According to independent studies, more American physicians use OpenEvidence than all other AI platforms combined, and it is used daily, on average, by 70% of U.S. clinicians to make high-stakes decisions at the point of care, grounded in and cited to peer-reviewed medical literature. We've built that reach with a team of fewer than 90 people, and the company is now valued at $15B, backed by Sequoia, GV, Kleiner Perkins, and Thrive Capital. Our enterprise partnerships with over 500 health systems and provider groups — including Cedars-Sinai, Mount Sinai, NewYork-Presbyterian, and Memorial Sloan Kettering — are how we bring that platform into the institution: secured, integrated, and connected to the system's own clinical priorities.
The role
Most enterprise sellers in healthcare spend years creating demand for products clinicians have never heard of. Here, the clinicians at the health system already use OpenEvidence. Your job is to turn that bottoms-up adoption into enterprise partnerships, then make those partnerships succeed.
You will own a portfolio of health systems end to end: executive engagement, deal structure, contracting (BAA/MSA/PAA), security and compliance review, deployment and integration scoping, launch, and ongoing growth. You'll work directly with CMOs, CMIOs, CIOs, and CEOs, and directly with our founding team.
What you'll do
Build and run a pipeline of health system partnerships, from first executive conversation through signed agreement, with clear ownership of outcomes for your portfolio.
Navigate enterprise procurement at health systems, including driving legal and privacy review, security assessments, AI governance committees, and clinical informatics stakeholders, in partnership with our Legal and Compliance team.
Scope and lead deployments with Engineering, including SSO, EHR integration, and rollout planning; then drive adoption, measure impact, and run executive business reviews that lead to expansion.
Act as a strategic advisor to health system leadership on how OpenEvidence maps to their clinical, quality, and operational priorities, while staying close to frontline clinicians.
Carry what you learn back to the team: you are the primary channel from health system partners to the engineers building OpenEvidence Enterprise.
You may be a good fit if you
Have 5+ years of enterprise sales or or revenue generating partnerships experience for software or AI products into health systems, including closing enterprise agreements with executive buyers.
Have run multi-stakeholder sales cycles through CMIO, CIO, CMO, legal contracting, security reviews, and an AI governance review actually involve.
Can work cross functionally with technical and clinical stakeholders, from security and integration teams to CMIOs and department leaders.
Have a track record of building net-new pipelines rather than inheriting accounts.
Think from first principles, are low-ego and rigorous, and are comfortable owning ambiguous problems in a fast-moving environment.
Strong candidates may also have
Experience at a healthcare AI company during its health system expansion.
Experience at a high-growth startup, including scaling a sales or partnerships organization through rapid growth.
Deep clinical informatics fluency; understanding OpenEvidence's product capabilities deeply.
This role is remote (US) with travel to partner sites as needed. This is a quota-carrying role; compensation includes base, variable, and equity.
