Senior Gameplay Engineer – Game Modes

As a Senior Gameplay Engineer – Game Modes at teamLFG, you’ll focus on the game mode systems of an unannounced project from pre-production through release and beyond, collaborating with designers and artists across a range of systems-focused engineering sub-disciplines. Most importantly, you will work with a fun, dedicated, and cross-discipline team devoted to turning a creative dream into a new franchise at PlayStation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain production-quality gameplay systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal
- 5 with minimal oversight
- Provide technical guidance to teammates on how to build code and content to work nicely with our simulation and network model
- Collaborate daily with the content creators and engine team to define and develop the blocks
- used by the content team to build the game
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in C++
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders of different technical and non-technical backgrounds to help them navigate technology and achieve their goals
- Experience building designer- and artist-facing systems, components and tools
- Experience with development using the Unreal Engine
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Experience with development on a variety of platforms (PC, console)
