About 7AI
7AI is the foundational AI security company. Founded in 2024 by Cybereason co-founders Lior Div and Yonatan Striem-Amit, we came out of stealth in February 2025 to take on the non-human work of the SOC. Our platform pairs a federated SIEM with AI agents that detect, investigate, respond, and hunt, plus dedicated threat hunting and threat intelligence, with humans on the loop.
Backed by $166 million in total funding from investors including Index Ventures and Blackstone, we're building the AI foundation for security operations in the agentic era, and we're still early. That's the appeal: you'll join at a pivotal stage where your work shapes what 7AI becomes, alongside security veterans who've built this before. Our culture runs on respect, collaboration, and a shared bar for excellence, all pointed at one goal: delivering real outcomes for the customers who trust us to defend them.
Overview
7AI is looking for a Field CISO to serve as the senior security voice of the company and an extension of our executive leadership in the field. You'll engage CISOs and security executives as a peer who has carried the same responsibility, and represent 7AI's vision, strategy, and commitments with the credibility of someone who has run a security program. This is a hands-on, deal-involved role. Thought leadership and community building are central to it, and both are grounded in real operating experience and direct customer work. You'll partner with Executive Leadership, Sales, Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to make 7AI the trusted choice at the highest levels of the organizations we serve.
What You'll Do
Represent 7AI's executive leadership in strategic customer, prospect, and partner engagements.
Engage directly with CISOs and security executives on high-value opportunities, from early executive alignment through decision and renewal.
Advise security leaders as a peer on SOC transformation, operating model design, risk, and responsible adoption of AI in security operations.
Partner with Account Executives and Sales Engineers on executive strategy for strategic deals, including executive mapping, business cases, and readouts.
Build and lead CISO community programs such as roundtables, advisory councils, and regional executive events.
Develop and deliver thought leadership through speaking, podcasts, written content, and analyst and media engagements, grounded in what you see in the field.
Bring customer and market insight back to Product and Leadership to shape roadmap and positioning.
Enable the field on executive-level conversations and on how to earn trust with security leadership.
What We're Looking For
15+ years in cybersecurity, including significant time as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or head of security operations at an enterprise organization.
Firsthand experience owning a security program, including building teams, managing budgets, and reporting to boards.
An established network and respected reputation within the CISO community.
Deep fluency in security operations, including detection and response, SOC operating models, MDR, and SIEM/SOAR.
A credible, well-formed point of view on the opportunities and risks of AI in security.
Demonstrated ability to influence executive buying decisions in complex enterprise sales cycles.
Executive presence and judgment to speak on behalf of company leadership.
Exceptional communication skills in the boardroom, on stage, and in writing.
Willingness to travel for customer engagements, events, and community programs.
