Job Summary
We are seeking a commercially minded Performance Ads Manager to drive high-quality lead generation and growth for our clients.
In this role, you’ll be directly responsible for the performance of client open-day campaigns, with a focus on filling events while maintaining efficient acquisition costs. You won’t simply be managing campaigns — you’ll take ownership of performance across the funnel, from creative strategy and paid acquisition through to landing page conversion and lead-to-booking rates.
You’ll continuously analyze local competition, test new creative approaches, identify opportunities for improvement, and use performance data to make informed decisions. This is a great opportunity for a proactive performance marketer who enjoys taking ownership and wants to have a visible impact within a small, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, optimize, and scale paid social campaigns to consistently generate enough qualified leads to fill client open days.
- Maintain CPL (Cost Per Lead) within agreed target ranges while protecting lead quality.
- Monitor and improve lead-to-booking rates through ongoing funnel analysis and optimization.
- Conduct regular competitor and market research to help clients remain competitive within their local markets.
- Develop, brief, and test new creative concepts in collaboration with content creators.
- Continuously optimize and A/B test landing pages to improve conversion rates.
- Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency and overall results.
- Produce detailed monthly reports highlighting performance, meaningful optimizations, tests, and strategic changes.
- Use AnyTrack and server-side tracking to maintain accurate campaign data and attribution.
- Proactively identify performance issues and implement solutions rather than waiting for direction.
Requirements
- High levels of professional ownership, clear communication, and accountability, with the ability to learn from mistakes and adapt quickly.
- Proven experience developing paid advertising creative strategies and directing content creators to produce high-performing assets.
- Previous experience working within an agency environment and the ability to thrive in a small, collaborative team.
- Strong technical knowledge of paid media platforms, campaign optimization, and performance marketing fundamentals.
- A proven track record of working toward specific lead generation, CPL, conversion, or booking targets.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn campaign and funnel data into actionable decisions.
- Ability to work standard UK business hours.
- Broader digital marketing knowledge and the versatility to support a small, agile team across different marketing functions when required.
- Experience using GoHighLevel is a must have.
- Experience using Basecamp or similar project management tools.
- Experience using AI tools effectively and building automations that improve marketing performance or operational efficiency.
- Comfortable working with tracking and attribution tools such as AnyTrack, including an understanding of server-side tracking.
