Xebia is a global AI-first, digital transformation, and engineering partner. With over 25 years of experience and a team of 5,000 professionals across 16 countries, we help organizations design and build scalable products, platforms, and data-driven solutions.

We specialize in Artificial Intelligence, Data and Cloud, Intelligent Automation, and Digital Products, combining deep technical expertise with a strong focus on engineering excellence and a people-first culture.

In the CEE region, we’re a team of nearly 1,000 experts delivering modern applications, data platforms, and AI solutions for clients such as Millennium, ING, Play, Edenred, Arabian Drilling, FedEx, Leroy Merlin, Truecaller, Volotea, Schmitz Cargobull, and many, many more. We work with leading technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake, and combine strong engineering culture with a consulting mindset and a continuous focus on growth and knowledge sharing.

The project focuses on migrating and modernizing a business-critical enterprise platform for an international company in the rail transportation and asset-leasing sector.
The first phase establishes the technical foundation and migrates an initial set of business modules. The priority is to preserve existing functionality and business rules while introducing selected improvements in usability, automation, performance, observability, and security. Delivery follows a phased approach to support operational continuity throughout the transition.

You will be:

Building a reusable application platform with shared components and common development patterns.
Migrating existing business functionality while maintaining functional parity.
Understanding and documenting complex business rules, data, and dependencies.
Integrating the new solution with enterprise systems and supporting data migration.
Delivering incremental releases supported by automated testing, user acceptance testing, and post-release stabilization.
The technology stack includes C# and .NET for backend development, React and TypeScript for the frontend, and PostgreSQL for data storage. Cloud infrastructure uses AWS and Terraform, with xUnit, Vitest, and Playwright supporting automated testing.

The team works in an international delivery environment using Scrum, two-week sprints, and regular refinement, planning, and review sessions. Close collaboration between engineers, business stakeholders, and domain experts is essential to understanding existing processes and translating them into reliable software.

For candidates, the project offers an opportunity to combine modern application development with the challenges of enterprise migration. The work is particularly relevant to professionals who enjoy understanding complex systems, building reusable solutions, and delivering improvements within clearly defined business and technical constraints.
