Job Description Summary:
The RCM Regional Sales Manager, Strategic, is responsible for driving revenue growth and market share for Modernizing Medicine's Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions within a designated strategic territory. This role focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire new, large-scale client accounts and expand relationships with existing strategic partners.
Your Role:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed RCM sales targets within the assigned region.
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with large physician practices, health systems, and other strategic healthcare organizations.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial contact to proposal generation, negotiation, and contract closing.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
Conduct in-depth needs assessments and present compelling value propositions tailored to the specific RCM challenges and objectives of prospective clients.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including RCM operations, product, and marketing, to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and pipeline reports to management.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting the RCM market.
Represent Modernizing Medicine at industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events.
Utilize CRM tools effectively to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on progress.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of successful strategic sales experience in healthcare RCM, medical billing services, or healthcare IT.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and closing large, complex deals with strategic accounts.
Deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, including front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end processes.
Strong knowledge of physician practice revenue cycle operations, including billing, coding, claims, denials, A/R, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
