We’re looking for a Data Architect to help transform complex client requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions for global brands. You’ll lead technical discovery, design end-to-end data architectures, and shape roadmaps that connect customer data, identity, and marketing technology.
Working closely with client stakeholders and our Data Engineering teams, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver robust architectures, improve data performance, and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Lead client discovery workshops to assess existing data platforms, identity frameworks, integrations, and business requirements.
- Design scalable data architectures integrating Snowflake, Databricks, mParticle, Hightouch, Braze, and wider MarTech ecosystems.
- Define data models, identity resolution, consent, governance, and data quality standards across multiple brands and markets.
- Develop technical roadmaps, scope delivery phases, estimate effort, and secure client approval before implementation.
- Evaluate data technologies and tools to ensure they meet business requirements, performance expectations, and commercial objectives.
- Guide Data Engineering teams in implementing and optimising data pipelines, including batch, event-driven, and low-latency data flows.
- Establish data validation, monitoring, performance optimisation, and engineering best practices.Translate complex data analysis and technical designs into clear recommendations and business value for client stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers and consultants, conduct technical reviews, and promote continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Support proposals, pitches, workshops, and strategic initiatives while identifying opportunities to expand client engagements.
- 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Solution Architecture, including at least 5 years in technical leadership.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms, with Hightouch experience being a plus.
- Proven experience integrating cloud data warehouses with MarTech, CRM, customer engagement, and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of identity resolution, customer profiles, and linking anonymous and known customer activity across multiple sources.
- Extensive experience in data modelling, pipeline architecture, reverse ETL, data integration, and performance optimisation.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience in version control, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
- Ability to lead discovery, translate business requirements into technical designs, and communicate architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience estimating and documenting technical solutions, managing scope, and securing client sign-off.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and guide technical delivery across multiple projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a commercial and outcome-focused mindset.
- Experience in an agency or consulting environment, managing multiple client engagements.
- Willingness to travel to client locations when required.
Desirable
- Certifications in Snowflake, data architecture, or relevant CDP and MarTech platforms.
- Familiarity with Braze, Amplitude, GA4, and marketing automation within modern warehouse-centric architectures.
- Strong understanding of data privacy, security, consent, and regulatory requirements.Experience developing technical proposals, delivering client presentations, and leading workshops or training sessions.
- A track record of introducing new technologies or architectural approaches that improve performance, efficiency, and business outcomes.
