We're hiring a Senior Account Executive I to own go to market for our General Manager and Influencer products across Division I athletic departments, from first conversation to signed agreement. I'm Joe Miller, Director, Sales at Teamworks. Our General Manager product is quickly becoming a product that touches nearly every DI athletic department, and this role sits right at the center of that growth.
You'll be joining a sales team that's expanding its footprint across college athletics, working alongside Territory Leads to drive Elite sales and partnering closely with our Wallet team to grow adoption of Wallet alongside GM and Influencer. This is a high-volume, relationship-driven role where you'll build your own pipeline, run your own demos, and work the full deal cycle from sourcing to close.
The RoleOwn the full sales cycle for General Manager and Influencer, from sourcing leads to executing agreements
Run product demos independently and tell a compelling story tailored to different stakeholders, from athletic directors to CFOs
Partner closely with Territory Leads in working with customers on packaging, including GM and Influencer
Build and leverage high-level relationships within athletic departments to open new opportunities
Work closely with our product team to translate customer feedback into product improvements
Collaborate with our Wallet team to drive adoption of Wallet alongside GM and Influencer
What You Must Bring
Background in budgeting or revenue share, ideally within a college athletics business office, so you can speak credibly to the financial tradeoffs our customers are weighing
Direct experience working within a Division I athletic department, so you understand firsthand the operational and budget realities our customers face
Proven ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced processes
Strong track record of collaborating within a team-based sales motion, this is not a role for someone used to working independently outside of a broader team
Based in the US, with willingness to travel as needed
Even Better If
You've held a CFO or business office title within a college athletic department
You have experience navigating conversations with both athletic directors and finance leaders on the same deal
You’ve had experience working directly with agents, athletes, etc. on revenue share agreements and/or you’ve worked directly with teams on campus with budgeting for NIL, negotiating contracts, etc.
You'll be selling a product that's actively reshaping how every Division I athletic department manages its business operations, while joining a fast-growing team with real momentum in sports tech. You'll work at the intersection of sales and product, with a direct line to influence what we build next.
