WHO WE ARE
The PR industry hasn't really changed in fifty years. Relationships, lunches, luck, and a clip report at the end of the month.
Interdependence is rebuilding it from the ground. Interviewed, our proprietary platform analyzes 300,000+ stories every day across a network of 250,000 journalists. We turn earned media into something measurable, repeatable, and worth paying for, and apply the same data and discipline across paid, social, content, and brand. Integrated marketing run by one team, on one system, accountable to one result.
Forbes named us one of America's Best PR Agencies. Our 100+ person team works with brands, CMOs, founders, and entrepreneurs across consumer, healthcare, tech, B2B, travel and entertainment.
We move fast. The best argument wins. We hire for sharp thinking, real craft, and ownership from day one. If you want comfortable, this isn't the place. If you want to win, build with us.
THE ROLE
- We're looking for an Organic Social Manager (B2B) to lead organic social strategy and execution for a portfolio of B2B clients. This is a hybrid strategist/creator role: you'll set the social roadmap for client brands on platforms like LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Reddit, build and activate communities on platforms like Discord, while also ghostwriting for executives and translating dense, technical, or industry-specific ideas into content that drives engagement and builds thought leadership. This is a business-building role. We want someone with a proven track record of growing B2B companies through organic social and driving real lead generation and pipeline, not vanity metrics.
- You're aggressively plugged into what's next. You know which formats, platforms, and tactics are working this month, you're often trying them before they're mainstream, and you have a point of view on where B2B social is heading. You're a thought leader in your own right, with your own following or body of work that shows you understand the algorithms because you've beaten them yourself. And you're a learning machine: when a platform rewrites its ranking system, you're the first to test, adapt, and teach the rest of us.
- We're looking for someone highly creative who can consistently bring fresh ideas, new angles, and engaging concepts to B2B social content. You're equally comfortable building a content calendar, developing a creative social concept, directing and editing a short-form video, turning one long-form recording into a month of clips, writing a scroll-stopping LinkedIn post in an executive's voice, and presenting performance insights back to a client.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for content ideation, drafting, research, video clipping and editing, and workflow efficiency is a must-have for this role. We're looking for someone who knows how to use AI to enhance their creativity and work smarter, not replace original thinking, strong writing, or good judgment. You understand that platforms now actively suppress generic AI-sounding content, and you know how to use AI without sounding like it.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own organic social strategy, content calendars, and day-to-day execution for a roster of B2B clients across platforms (primarily LinkedIn, with X, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, and Instagram as client needs dictate)
- Own the algorithm: continuously study, test, and adapt to ranking changes on each platform (for example, LinkedIn's shift toward specialist and personal content, X's Grok-powered ranking and link suppression), and turn those insights into playbooks for clients and the team
- Build executive and employee-led social programs, recognizing that people, not company pages, now drive the majority of B2B organic reach and conversions
- Develop fresh, creative social concepts and content ideas that help B2B brands and executives stand out in crowded feeds
- Lead video-first content strategy: plan, script, and direct short-form vertical video, founder-on-camera content, and long-form YouTube for technical and tech-sector clients
- Build and run clipping engines that turn long-form assets (podcasts, webinars, keynotes, founder recordings, customer conversations) into high volumes of native short-form clips, and evaluate when external clipper networks make sense for distribution
- Develop and execute authentic Reddit strategies for clients: identifying the right subreddits, building credible accounts and karma, and earning organic presence that drives both buyer trust and AI search visibility
- Build and activate owned communities (Discord, Slack, LinkedIn and X Communities) as engines for engagement, advocacy, product feedback, and retention
- Ghostwrite LinkedIn posts, X long-form posts and Articles, thought leadership articles, and executive commentary that sounds authentically like the voice of each client spokesperson
- Translate complex, technical, or industry-specific concepts into content that's clear, credible, and engaging for B2B audiences
- Develop and maintain content calendars, briefs, and process documentation for assigned client accounts
- Manage the full content lifecycle: drafting, internal/client approvals, scheduling, and publishing
- Monitor and report on social performance metrics, turning data into clear, actionable optimization recommendations for clients, with a focus on lead generation and pipeline impact, including attribution approaches that account for dark social (UTMs, CRM tagging, self-reported attribution)
- Stay current on platform best practices, algorithm shifts, and emerging formats across major social channels**, and share what you learn through internal briefings and your own public content**
- Actively use AI tools to accelerate ideation, research, drafting, clipping, optimization, and workflow efficiency while bringing original thinking and a strong creative point of view to the work
- Stay current on emerging AI tools and identify opportunities to incorporate them into organic social workflows
- Optimize social content for AI-driven discovery, understanding how Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X content is surfaced and cited by AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Grok
- Collaborate cross-functionally with account, creative, and PR teams to align social content with broader client campaigns and news moments
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 - 9 years of organic social media management experience within an agency environment, with experience supporting B2B clients
- Proven track record of building B2B businesses through organic social, with case studies showing measurable lead generation, pipeline, or revenue impact
- Deep, hands-on LinkedIn expertise, plus demonstrated results on X and YouTube, especially for tech and AI audiences
- A thought leader in your own right, with a personal following, newsletter, or public body of work that shows you understand how platforms reward content
- Video-first content expertise (short-form, founder-on-camera, long-form YouTube, and clipping workflows) combined with excellent written content skills
- Hands-on experience with Reddit and community platforms like Discord, including how to participate credibly without triggering community backlash
- An insatiable learner who tracks trends aggressively, experiments early, and can point to tactics you adopted before they went mainstream
- Highly creative thinker with a track record of developing original social concepts, content angles, and ideas that drive engagement
