Overview
Corti is the frontier lab for clinical-grade AI, building world-leading models and infrastructure for the realities of healthcare.
Our technology powers healthcare’s most ambitious software, from EHR vendors and virtual care platforms to the health systems that care depends on. We work with builders ranging from fast-moving startups to global healthcare enterprises, helping them bring clinical AI into real-world care.
Healthcare is full of problems where AI has to do more than simply work. Clinicians are overwhelmed by documentation. Coding errors, backlogs and denials cost health systems billions. And the specialist expertise patients need is not always available when they need it.
We build AI specifically for these environments, trained on real patient interactions, validated against real outcomes, and designed to perform where accuracy, trust and reliability matter. If you want to help define how AI is built for healthcare, you belong at Corti.
The Role
We're building a network of specialist clinicians who help us improve our AI products across different medical fields. This role is for a consultant psychiatrist who can provide clinical expertise on an ad hoc, hourly basis (typically up to 5 hours per month) to help shape and evaluate Corti's AI models and outputs in psychiatry.
You'll work with our product and clinical teams on tasks like participating in medical simulations, reviewing AI-generated clinical notes, providing authentically written sample documentation, and evaluating AI output against synthetic or simulated data. The work is flexible and project-driven: we'll reach out when we need your expertise, and you'll have the freedom to accept or decline based on your availability.
This is part of a broader initiative to build a reusable, scalable way of engaging specialist clinicians across multiple specialties and regions, so the right candidate is comfortable working in a lightweight, consultative model.
What you'll be doing includes, but is not limited to:
Participating in clinical simulations to help us test and refine AI behaviour in psychiatric contexts
Providing authentically written sample clinical notes, assessments, and documentation representative of real-world psychiatric practice
Evaluating AI-generated output against synthetic or simulated clinical data, including pairwise preference testing and structured annotation
Engaging in qualitative interviews and clinical discussions to share domain expertise with our product and engineering teams
Reviewing and commenting on AI-generated text output for clinical accuracy, tone, and appropriateness in psychiatry
What you bring:
An actively licensed psychiatrist or psychiatry resident in Germany
Several years (min. 2 year of residency completed) of clinical experience in psychiatry with current clinical practice
Comfort working with technology and a genuine interest in how AI is shaping healthcare
Ability to write clinical documentation to a professional standard in German and English
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate clinical reasoning clearly to non-clinical audiences in a fully remote setting
Life at Corti
You will be reporting to Head of Clinical Innovation
This is a contract-based consulting engagement.
Work is ad hoc and flexible, up to approximately 5 hours per month.
