The listing
As a senior member of the team, this person will manage the most complex implementations — configuring systems to maximize potentials and fill gaps , and setting customers up on sound methodology from day one — act as a trusted advisor to customers' purchasing and pharmacy leadership, and help mentor other Implementation Specialists on purchasing-, supply- and cost-related workflows.
The ideal candidate is highly attentive to detail, comfortable talking with pharmacy buyers, purchasing directors, and finance stakeholders, and can operate in an environment that is often ambiguous and requires creativity to resolve issues.

- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, pharmacy, healthcare management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience, with a background aligned to hospital pharmacy purchasing, buying, procurement, or pharmacy cost-savings optimization (e.g., experience as a buyer or in a similar purchasing-facing role).
- 2+ years of project management and/or client-facing experience, ideally implementation-related.
- Strong familiarity with pharmacy cost savings programs, 340B program requirements, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs) preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare industry, ideally hospital pharmacy or health-system purchasing.
- Strong financial and data analysis skills, with the ability to assess savings performance and identify optimization opportunities during implementation.
- Ability to adapt to change, think quickly, and work independently.
- Team-player attitude and a willingness to get things done, including mentoring less-senior teammates.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to build trusting, communicative, and results-oriented relationships with customers, including purchasing and finance stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the US as needed.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credentials a strong plus.
- ACE certification a strong plus.
- Excel and SQL skills a plus.
- Previous experience with EMRs/ADCs (e.g., EPIC and Cerner) or purchasing/wholesaler platforms a plus.
