Summary

Associate Director, Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth and leading teams of managers and Account Executives for a defined segment or product. This role provides strategic direction, builds scalable sales processes, and ensures strong execution across teams. It is essential for shaping sales strategy, enabling high performance, and supporting overall commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and motivate sales managers and Account Executives, fostering a high-performance and high-accountability culture.

  • Build and execute strategic sales plans to drive new business, expansion, and retention within a defined segment or product.

  • Hire, develop, and retain high-performing talent with a strong focus on leadership capability and team scalability.

  • Develop and implement repeatable, scalable processes and playbooks to ensure consistent sales execution across teams.

  • Monitor and guide pipeline health, activity metrics, forecasts, and performance trends; identify risks and adjust strategies proactively.

  • Provide strategic insights based on KPI analysis, including root-cause identification and clear recommendations for improvement or acceleration.

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to align on priorities, improve processes, and enhance customer experience.

  • Support managers and sellers as a strategic partner and player-coach on key opportunities when needed.

  • Lead or contribute to initiatives that improve sales effectiveness, team capability, and operational efficiency.

  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing updates, insights, and recommendations that inform strategic decisions.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly revenue targets.

Qualifications

  • Extensive B2B sales leadership experience, including managing sales managers and/or senior Account Executives.

  • Proven track record of driving strong sales performance and achieving revenue goals at scale.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop segment- or product-level sales strategies and guide teams through complex selling environments.

  • Strong analytical abilities with experience using data and KPIs to drive decisions, coaching, and strategic planning.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.

  • Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.

  • Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
