Company Operating RhythmAt Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance.
Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do.
Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.
Team Overview
EMEA is a growing market for Deepgram, and we're moving from opportunistic sponsorships to a planned events and field program tied to pipeline. You'll be our first field and events marketer in the region, based in London, working with EMEA sales and partner leads and as part of the global Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Director, Events & Field Marketing.
You'll build a London technical community and partner motions across the region, and connect every event to sales pipeline. The playbook you create will shape how Europe's builders and buyers experience Deepgram for years.
Key Goals
Publish a committed 6-9 month EMEA events plan and tiering model, agreed with sales and partner leads within your first 30 days
Launch a recurring London technical community program with steady attendance from developers, builders and customers
Stand up repeatable joint programs with cloud, technology or channel partners, with shared goals and pipeline tracked from day one
Build an event-to-sales system (target account lists, pre-event meeting booking, fast follow-up) that meets pre-set pipeline objectives
Ship an event-in-a-box kit (signage, swag, talk tracks, lead capture) so local sales and partner teams can run key events without hands-on marketing support
Replace ad hoc requests with a simple intake-and-approval process, with a portion of budget and capacity planning reserved for late-breaking partner opportunities
Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities
Builds communities technical audiences show up for: hands-on content, credible speakers, real builders in the room, no sales pitches
Designs partner marketing motions with cloud, technology or channel partners, with shared goals and measurable pipeline
Connects events to sales: aligns on target accounts, books pre-event meetings, and drives follow-up that turns attendance into pipeline
Operates AI-native: designs Human+AI workflows for event planning, follow-up and reporting
Builds systems that eliminate recurring work, such as event kits and intake processes, instead of re-solving each event
Ranks opportunities against clear criteria and aligns sales, partner and marketing stakeholders around one plan
Executes events with sound logistics and vendor management, and handles lead capture in line with GDPR
Works self-directed as the first in region, across time zones with a US-based team; travels across the region regularly (roughly 40-50%)
Preferred Qualifications (nice-to-have, not required)
Typically ~5-8 years in event or field marketing, or equivalent demonstrated experience
Background in B2B SaaS, developer-focused or AI/infrastructure marketing
Experience running co-marketing programs with technical partners
Professional proficiency in an additional European language, such as French or German
