Job SummaryPyyne is seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience managing technical projects to work as a consultant out of our Brazil or Argentina office. This is a high-impact role for Pyyne as we are starting work with a new client, and this hire will shape the client's first impression of Pyyne.
A successful candidate in this role will manage delivery for the client's data strategy and analytics team and build trust with stakeholders through clear communication, honest reporting, and reliable follow-through.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn delivery planning and execution for the client's data strategy and analytics team, including scope, roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
Turn business priorities from client stakeholders into a prioritized backlog and clear work for the team, and keep priorities aligned as they change.
Build trust with client leaders from the first weeks by communicating clearly, reporting risks early and honestly, and following through on every commitment.
Run planning, review, and retrospective ceremonies and keep progress visible through regular status updates to the client and to Pyyne.
Identify blockers and cross-team dependencies early, and escalate them with options and a recommendation.
Manage scope, expectations, and change requests with both business and technical stakeholders.
Represent Pyyne in client meetings and surface opportunities to expand the engagement.
Must Have Skills:
5+ years of experience in technical project or delivery management.
Demonstrated experience building trust with senior business stakeholders in a client-facing or consulting setting.
Experience running Agile delivery and managing backlogs, roadmaps, and status reporting for a technical team.
Working knowledge of data and analytics concepts (such as data pipelines, reporting, and dashboards), enough to plan work and question estimates.
Very strong written and verbal English, for daily collaboration with client stakeholders.
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience as a consultant or embedded in client teams through staff augmentation.
Experience managing data or data platform teams, or with data strategy, governance, or BI initiatives.
Project management or Agile certification (for example PMP or CSM).
Experience in retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing environments.
Experience managing delivery for distributed teams across time zones.
