Job Summary

As a Carrier Relations Manager at CEQUENS, you will be instrumental in fostering and nurturing enduring partnerships with Mobile Network Operators and Telcom partenr. You will serve as a crucial intermediary, dedicated to overcoming obstacles, maintaining high levels of satisfaction among MNO partners, and actively contributing to the expansion of CEQUENS' presence in the market. Your responsibilities encompass delivering innovative technologies and solutions, including SMS monetization, SAAS and CPaaS offerings, channel partnerships, and connectivity improvements. There is also an element of winning new clients so you must have a hunting mindset.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with MNOs globally.
  • You will be the primary point of contact for MNOs, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any challenges.
  • Implement strategies to enhance partnerships with MNOs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align goals and deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor industry standards and regulations related to MNOs in different countries.

Deliver Cutting-Edge Technologies

  • Present and promote CEQUENS' innovative technologies and solutions to MNO partners, including SMS monetization strategies, SAAS and CPaaS offerings, channel partnership opportunities, and enhancements in connectivity.
  • Drive CPaaS sales by identifying opportunities and developing channel partnerships.
  • Enhance our service offerings through strategic collaborations.
  • Identify growth opportunities to expand CEQUENS' presence in existing and new markets.
  • Drive CPaaS partnership growth by structuring monetization models, commercial frameworks, and go-to-market plans with MNO and enterprise partners.
  • Own the end-to-end CPaaS partnership lifecycle, from opportunity identification through negotiation, contracting, and onboarding.
  • Conduct carrier needs analysis to identify relevant CPaaS use cases, translating partner pain points into tailored solutions that drive adoption and revenue growth.

Contribute to Growth

  • Play a key role in driving the expansion of CEQUENS' market presence by identifying opportunities for growth, proposing strategic initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute plans effectively.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any challenges or issues faced by MNO partners, working closely with internal teams to deliver effective solutions and maintain satisfaction.
  • Participate in Carrier RFI/RFP responses and other special projects, coordinating cross-functional input to deliver competitive, well-positioned, and on-time submissions.
  • Drive growth in account revenues by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing carrier and partner accounts.
  • Own account-level revenue growth plans, tracking performance against targets and course-correcting with data-driven initiatives

Industry Engagement

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.
  • Share insights and trends to position the company as a thought leader in the carrier relations space.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in carrier relations,

Education

  • Master/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Skills

  • Proven experience in carrier relations in a related role within the telecommunications industry is a must.
  • Strong understanding of mobile network operations, technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Great sales skills and good connections with telecom operators.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SMS and CPaaS industry, including regulatory requirements is a must
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required for client meetings, conferences, and partnership development.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
