About the role

We're looking for an Executive Assistant with a marketing or communications background to support a US-based founder. You'll be part EA, part marketing partner. You'll help manage the founder's LinkedIn presence and outreach, support media and PR efforts, and over time take ownership of their calendar and weekly planning. This role suits someone who enjoys writing, is organized, and wants to grow into a true "second brain" for a busy executive.

Compensation: 800 to 1,500 (Depends on Experience)

Location: Remote

What you'll do

• Manage LinkedIn content and outreach: learn the founder's voice, draft and schedule posts, comment on relevant posts, and handle LinkedIn messages and prospect follow-ups.

• Support media outreach: help draft pitches and press materials, track outreach, and follow up with media contacts.

• Own calendar and task management: maintain the founder's weekly planning system, time-block their schedule, and keep priorities on track.

• Help recruit freelance contractors: post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews.

• Triage the inbox, prepare meeting briefs and keep notes and follow-ups organized.

Requirements

Must-haves

• A background in marketing, communications, PR or advertising, through a degree or work experience. A marketing degree is a strong plus.

• At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant or in a similar support role.

• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 or above).

• Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt to someone else's voice and tone.

• Experience managing calendars, inboxes and competing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing LinkedIn or other social media for a founder or brand.

• Media relations or PR experience, such as pitching journalists or writing press releases.

• Experience recruiting or coordinating freelancers.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace, LinkedIn's post scheduler, Canva and a CRM such as HubSpot.
