The Client Value Partner Role at Exelab
Exelab builds custom, AI-powered solutions, each one tailor-made to a client's specific business objective. We run every engagement like a small product effort: we start from a real problem and craft a solution to move a real metric (revenue, efficiency, conversion, retention). We work in small, tight teams, close to the client's business, and we use AI directly in how we design and build. What matters to us is the impact we create for clients.
The Client Value Partner owns Exelab's relationship with a set of clients and the value we create for them. The Client Value Partner is the trusted presence at the table: someone who understands each client's business deeply, finds where Exelab can move a real metric, and turns that into a real solution, doing the analysis and the functional design and working with a Solution Architect on the technical depth. The role is about growing each client over time, turning a first engagement into a lasting relationship. It spans several clients and industries through the year, so it rewards someone who reads a business fast and carries real standing with senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
The Client Value Partner owns the relationship and the value for a portfolio of clients. The core responsibilities:
Own the client relationship: Be the person the client trusts. Stay close to their business, understand where they are heading, and be present at the moments that matter (including in person). The Client Value Partner is accountable for the health of the relationship and for putting Exelab's effort where it creates the most value.
Find where the value is: Run the discovery that surfaces the real problems and opportunities. Ask the questions that get to what genuinely moves the client's numbers, and turn that into a clear direction worth pursuing.
Analyze the need and design the solution: Turn the opportunity into a concrete solution: do the analysis and the functional design, leaving the fine technical detail to a Solution Architect who partners on depth and feasibility. Own the solution enough to make it real and to make the client believe in it.
Grow the account: Turn a first project into a lasting, growing relationship. Spot the next opportunity, make the case, and expand the value Exelab delivers.
Carry the standing: Hold ground with senior stakeholders: the calm, credible presence who can challenge a client's assumption, reframe a problem, and keep the trust.
In summary, the Client Value Partner is Exelab's owner of client and value: the person who understands a business, finds where we can help, shapes the solution, and grows the relationship over time. It is a role for someone with real standing, sharp judgment, and a genuine pleasure in working with people.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Our ideal Client Value Partner is an experienced, credible operator who grows the clients they touch. There is no need to match every line below: the core is standing, a track record of growing clients, and the ability to turn an opportunity into a designed solution.
A track record of growing clients: Clients (and the companies they worked for) that grew because of them, with numbers to show it. They think in terms of the value created.
Standing and people-reading: Senior stakeholders take them seriously. Sharp, quick, empathetic; they enjoy being with people and build trust naturally.
Discovery and solution design: They ask the questions that surface the real problem, and they carry it through to a designed solution: analysis and functional design, with technical partners on the depth.
Business understanding, and enough technology: They grasp a client's business model fast, and they understand technology well enough to shape a solution with our architects.
Practical: Native or C2-level Italian, and based in Italy. Closing contracts sits with our commercial team; the Client Value Partner's focus is trust and value.
