The listing

As a Senior Power Platform Developer, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, building business applications and automations that deliver high-quality client service and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Power Platform CoE Lead, you will contribute to solutions that shape how we deliver value to our clients and our people.

We prioritise engineers who understand the intended outcome and the wider system, surface assumptions and trade-offs, and suggest better approaches. You'll use judgement on when to proceed independently, when to seek clarification, and when to challenge a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Take requirements through design, build, testing, deployment and support with little supervision
  • Build Canvas and Model-Driven apps in Power Apps, including complex forms, galleries, components and responsive layouts
  • Design and maintain Power Automate cloud flows: approvals, scheduled flows, error handling and integrations with SharePoint, Dataverse, Outlook, Teams and other connectors
  • Design Dataverse solutions: tables, relationships, business rules and security roles, using solution-aware development
  • Manage ALM: solutions, environment strategy, connection references, environment variables and deployment pipelines (Power Platform Pipelines or Azure DevOps)
  • Follow CoE governance standards (naming conventions, DLP policies, security, performance tuning, documentation) and help build reusable components and templates
  • Work with Business Analysts to refine requirements, Solution Architects to follow architecture and governance standards, and UX Designers to build user-friendly interfaces
  • Perform code reviews, take part in team stand-ups and collaborate with developers across multiple regions

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on Power Apps experience, building both Canvas and Model-Driven apps
  • 3 to 5 years of Power Automate experience (cloud flows, approvals, scheduled flows, error handling and integrations)
  • Strong Dataverse knowledge: table design, relationships, business rules, security roles and solution-aware development
  • Experience with ALM and deployment best practices: solutions, environment strategy, connection references, environment variables and deployment pipelines (Power Platform Pipelines or Azure DevOps)
  • Experience following CoE governance standards: naming conventions, DLP policies, security, performance tuning and documentation
  • Able to deliver on your own, from requirements to design, build, testing, deployment and support, with little supervision
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Scrum methodology; familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar project and defect tracking tools
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with stakeholders; able to work across time zones
  • Advanced English (B2+/C1), written and verbal
  • Nice to have: Code Apps experience (Power Apps code apps built with React or TypeScript)
  • Nice to have: 1 to 2 years of Copilot Studio experience (topics, knowledge sources, actions and connectors, integrated with Power Automate and Teams)
  • Nice to have: Power Automate Desktop experience (attended and unattended RPA)
  • Nice to have: Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 or PL-600
