About the role:
Curri is seeking an Associate, Retail Routes Performance to own performance management for Curri’s fast-growing retail routes program. Routes are launching faster than the team can monitor them. Without a dedicated owner, scorecards, coaching and performance monitoring fall behind, and quality slips as volume grows. This role keeps performance strong as the program scales by running scorecards and coaching, and it adds project management and data/AI capacity to a lean team. Success means retail route metrics hold steady or improve as new routes and markets come online.
What you will do:
Build, maintain and run the weekly performance scorecards for retail routes, tracking on-time rate, completion, returns and quality issues, and flagging trends before they become problems.
Coach partners and drivers on performance gaps, giving direct and constructive feedback, and drive improvement plans to completion.
Monitor performance closely as new routes and markets launch so quality holds through growth.
Use AI tools to automate reporting, surface insights and speed up performance reviews.
Own performance-related projects end to end, from scoping and timelines through follow-through and reporting results.
Work with internal teams, external stakeholders and retail partners to make lasting performance improvements.
What you need to have:
Strong data skills, including confidence in spreadsheets and with retail or operational data, so you can find the story in the numbers and act on it.
Hands-on experience with AI tools, or a strong interest in using them, to work faster and replace manual reporting with automated workflows.
The ability to coach, and comfort giving direct, constructive feedback to partners and drivers even when the conversation is hard.
Strong project management and organization skills, with a track record of keeping multiple workstreams moving and closing them out.
High agency and close attention to detail, with comfort in ambiguity and a willingness to dig into the details rather than stay high level.
Bonus points for:
Experience running scorecards, KPIs or performance programs in retail or last-mile delivery.
Having used AI to automate or improve a reporting or analysis workflow.
Experience with SQL or BI tools beyond spreadsheets.
A track record of keeping quality high while an operation grew quickly.
What is in it for you?
Ownership of performance for a fast-growing retail routes program from day one, with a visible, measurable impact on how well it scales.
Daily work with real retail data and AI tools, and direct access to team leadership.
A small team with real ownership and room to grow as the program expands.
Competitive salary, equity compensation, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401K).
Remote-friendly, with a preference for presence in the Ventura, CA office.
A high-growth, mission-driven environment where your work has direct and measurable impact.
