Create momentum. Build relationships. Grow with us.

Red Hat is looking for a Corporate Account Executive to join our Commercial Sales team in Germany.

This is more than an opportunity to manage a set of accounts. You will have the freedom to shape your business, the support of a strong account team and the opportunity to work with some of Germany’s most sophisticated organizations — from established enterprises to global players.

Red Hat is at an exciting point in its journey. With a strong position across Enterprise Linux, automation, OpenShift, virtualization, AI and open source security, we are creating new conversations with customers and opening new markets.

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.

Someone who is curious, commercially minded and proactive. Someone who creates momentum, brings people together and can engage confidently with everyone from technical experts to senior executives — without needing to be the loudest person in the room.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic corporate accounts, developing account strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders across IT, business and executive levels.
  • Proactively identify and create new opportunities across the Red Hat portfolio.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline and take ownership of the full sales cycle.
  • Orchestrate Solution Architects, specialists, Services, Marketing, partners and other teams around a common customer strategy.
  • Keep the account team aligned, ask the difficult questions and make sure the right people are involved at the right time.
  • Understand customer business priorities and translate them into compelling technology and business outcomes.
  • Continuously look for new approaches, learn from what works and adapt when it doesn’t.

What you’ll bring:

  • Several years of experience in software or technology sales, ideally in a complex B2B environment.
  • A track record of developing customer relationships, pipeline and commercial results.
  • Strong ownership and the drive to turn ideas into action.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to influence and orchestrate without formal authority.
  • Commercial curiosity and a genuine interest in technology and customer business challenges.
  • An open, growth-oriented mindset and a willingness to actively seek and use feedback.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Experience with Red Hat or our partner ecosystem is a plus, but not a requirement.

Why Commercial Sales at Red Hat?

Commercial Germany gives you the best of both worlds: the scale and complexity of enterprise sales with the freedom and agility of a commercial organization.

Our customers can be large, complex and global. At the same time, you have the freedom to test ideas, challenge established approaches and shape how you develop your accounts.

You will join a team that believes high performance and personal development go hand in hand. We learn from each other, invest in coaching and development, and value people who bring new ideas and energy to the team.

Most importantly, you will be joining Red Hat at a time when our technology and our market opportunity are expanding.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You do need the curiosity to ask the right questions, the ownership to find them and the ambition to keep getting better.

If that sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.
