The listing
At Sword, we’re building AI to heal billions and unlock humanity’s full potential. In doing so, we’re pioneering AI Care, a fundamentally new approach to healthcare built for medical reasoning, safety, and real-time treatment, not generic technology applied after the fact. As both a clinical-centric frontier AI lab and an applied AI platform, Sword is reimagining how care is delivered at scale, removing traditional barriers like appointments, waiting rooms, and stigma so more people can access the care they need—and ultimately get back to lives lived in full.
Since 2020, Sword has expanded across physical therapy, women’s health, cardiometabolic, and mental health, and is now moving beyond the session to a fully AI-native, 24/7 care program that brings physical activity, therapeutic exercise, psychotherapy, nutrition, and behavior change into one connected experience. More than 700,000 members across three continents have completed over 10 million AI sessions, helping 1,000+ enterprise clients avoid more than $1 billion in unnecessary healthcare costs. Backed by 42 clinical studies, 44+ patents, and more than $500 million raised from leading investors including Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, and Founders Fund, Sword is defining a new standard for healthcare.

Role
We are looking for a data-driven and customer-obsessed Lifecycle Marketing Manager to execute and improve the end-to-end customer journey. In this role, you will design, build, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (Email, Push, and In-App) aimed at driving user activation, engagement, retention, and monetization. You will also support partnership efforts and ad hoc campaigns.
You will act as the voice of the customer throughout their lifecycle, creating highly personalized experiences that drive engagement and business impact. The ideal candidate is an excellent problem solver, top tier with hands-on execution and loves diving into the data to uncover growth opportunities.
What you'll be doing:
- Build, deploy, and maintain automated lifecycle campaigns across Email, Push Notifications, and In-App Messages using CRM platforms (e.g. Braze / Iterable)
- Find new opportunities to optimize key user journeys and campaigns across onboarding through to active engagement, reactivation, and winback
- Use AI/LLM tools to streamline recurring work (briefs, copy variants, QA, reporting) and test ways to make lifecycle programs smarter and more personalized
- Design and execute experiments (subject lines, send times, content, channel mix) to optimize campaign performance and drive incremental lift.
- Track and report on core lifecycle KPIs (Open Rates, CTR, Conversion Rate, Unsubscribe Rates, Churn, Winbacks). Share actionable insights with the broader team.
- Collaborate with User Acquisition, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Partnerships and Customer Success to execute an integrated marketing/promotional calendar
- Work with Design, Product, Engineering, and Data to get the right events and attributes into Braze for triggering and personalization
What you need to have:
- 3-5 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing, ideally within Consumer Tech or Subscription services
- Hands-on experience building automated workflows in CRM platforms (e.g. Braze, Iterable)
- Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools in your day-to-day work, and examples of how you’ve used them to save time or improve results
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable pulling cohorts, reading results, and turning them into next steps. Experience with a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, Mixpanel)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email template troubleshooting. Understanding of data structures, APIs, and event-based triggering
- Strong attention to detail and QA discipline across multiple concurrent campaigns
- Highly organized self-starter capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining strict quality control
Nice to have:
- Strong copywriting and editing
- Experience with AI-driven personalization or predictive features in a CRM (e.g., Braze Intelligence)
- Experience with partnership or B2B2C campaigns
