The listing

When a discrete job stalls mid-routing or a quality plan stops firing at an inspection step, engineers on the floor need an answer that day, not a ticket number. This role is that answer.

C-Serv is building a specialist delivery team to support a large engineering and manufacturing operation, and we're looking for an Oracle manufacturing subject matter expert to sit at the heart of it. You'll join C-Serv as a permanent employee or on a contract basis, whichever suits you best, and partner directly with the client's engineering teams every day, keeping jobs moving, data clean, and quality checks reliable. This is a hands-on operational role. If you've spent your career closer to the shop floor than the server room, you'll feel at home here.

What you'll own

  • Day-to-day functional support for Oracle Work in Process: discrete jobs, routings, assembly operations, scrap, completions, and variance tracking
  • Design, setup, and troubleshooting of Oracle Quality Collection Plans, including triggers, collection elements, and their link to WIP inspection steps
  • Investigating stuck or failed transactions and validating data integrity using SQL
  • Building ad-hoc operational reports that engineers and managers actually use
  • Acting as the bridge between engineering teams and the system, translating real production problems into practical Oracle fixes

Requirements

What you'll bring

  • Deep functional experience with Oracle WIP in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Oracle Quality Collection Plans
  • Intermediate SQL: comfortable with multi-table joins, subqueries, and aggregates
  • A consultative, confident communication style with engineering stakeholders
  • A background that blends operations and Oracle. Manufacturing engineers or operations specialists who became Oracle ERP power users are a great fit, as are functional analysts with significant plant floor exposure

Benefits

What you'll get from C-Serv

  • A direct, embedded role where your operational knowledge shapes how the client runs day to day
  • A delivery team that backs you, with clear communication and support throughout
  • A values-led, woman-owned company that works with technology-led organizations across 50+ countries
