As a Mechanical Designer you will be responsible for;
- Generate accurate 3D CAD drawings [70%]
- Produce 2D fabrication, spool drawings and generate bills of materials for fabrication [30%]
- Work within a multi-discipline team and proactively communicate on schedule and technical challenges [100%]
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D. Experience in Revit an asset.
- CSWP (Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional) preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions
- Acts as resource for more junior designers
- Has specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in mechanical design of water/wastewater skids or plants.
- Food and Beverage, Industrial, Municipal and Micro Electronics markets experience preferred
Qualifications;
- College diploma, associate, bachelor’s degree or 5+ years CAD drafting/design or equivalent experience, with use of SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Experience with SOLIDWORKS Routing and Weldments add-ins
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards and practices
Salary Range: $75k-95k
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
