About Numa
Numa is building the system to power AI-native dealerships, rearchitecting automotive service and sales with advanced AI agents that automate customer interactions, streamline operations, and reimagine how dealerships work. Numa integrates AI into every aspect of dealership functions, from rescuing customer calls and voicemails that generate more revenue, to reducing customer resolution times to drive overall customer satisfaction (CSI), to improving dealership team productivity and accountability. Numa has raised $50 million from leading investors (Google, Threshold, Costanoa, Mitsui, and Touring Capital).
About the role
Numa is the AI Operating System for dealerships. Every release we ship changes how a dealership answers its phones, runs its service lane, and takes care of its customers. A release only matters if the people selling it, supporting it, and buying it understand it the day it ships.
Your job is to make sure they do. You own the path from roadmap to launch for every product, and you make sure Customer Success, Sales, and Product are ready when it lands.
The Marketing Lead owns the overarching positioning and the master narrative. You make it specific. You carry that framing into every launch, turn it into the messaging and enablement for each product, and bring back what you hear from Product, the field, and dealerships so the story stays true.
You're also the Marketing Lead's eyes and ears on the product. You bring the information leadership needs, and together you keep the executive team aligned on what's shipping, how it's positioned, and what the field needs to win.
We run lean, and we run on AI agents. You'll work side by side with the Marketing Lead, and everything you own ladders up to them.
What you'll own
- Launches, end to end. You run go-to-market for every release, from roadmap to ship date, inside the positioning of the Marketing Lead sets.
- Product messaging. You make the narrative specific to each product: what it does, who it's for, and why a dealership should care.
- Readiness. Customer Success first, then Sales, then Product. You track certification against committed dates and raise your hand early when something is at risk.
- Enablement the field actually uses: positioning briefs, battlecards, product requirement inputs, and the core collateral to sell and support every release.
- Time in the product and in the field. You use the product yourself, join roadmap and release reviews, and spend real time with Performance Architects, Regional Sales Managers, and Solutions Engineers, including visits to the dealership.
- Executive alignment. You bring the Marketing Lead what leadership needs to make decisions: what's shipping, how ready the field is, what dealerships are saying, and what competitors are doing. Together you keep the executive team on the same page.
- The launch playbook. You build it as you go, so the next launch is easier than the last.
- Runway. You push for real lead time between idea and launch, and you hold the line on it.
What you bring
- Launch experience. 4+ years in product marketing, ideally at an early-stage or high-growth company, where you've owned launches end to end.
- You make someone else's narrative land. You take a positioning framework and carry it product by product without bending it. When it isn't landing in the field, you come back with evidence.
- Product fluency. You learn a complex product fast and explain AI features to dealership teams in plain language. You hold your own with PMs.
- Sharp writing. Your briefs, messaging, and battlecards are tight, specific, and actually get used.
- Executive presence. You can walk a leader through what's shipping, what's at risk, and what you need, and leave them with a decision.
- Comfortable with ambiguity. Shifting inputs energizes you. You build structure as you go instead of waiting for it.
- AI native. AI tools are already part of how you work, and you use them to take repetitive work off your plate.
Preferred
- Experience marketing AI or software products to business buyers.
- Time in a customer-facing role, like sales, customer success, or account management.
- You've built a launch process from nothing, not just run an existing one.
- You've marketed to car dealerships, or to another vertical where every account counts.
How you'll be measured
- Launchs ship on time, and Customer Success, Sales, and Product are ready on day one.
- The field uses what you build.
- Teams are never surprised by a launch.
- Each launch runs cleaner than the one before it.
