Our Data Scientists are highly skilled in driving valuable insights from data and creating machine learning algorithms to automate decision making and drive business value.
This role involves working in teams that use modern agile technical practices - including continuous integration and deployment and fast feedback loops - to deliver timely and pragmatic solutions, as well as helping others to do their jobs in a more effective way.
Responsibilities
- Use data to improve how our clients make decisions to enhance their customer experience, and drive loyalty.
- Uncover deep insight hidden in their vast repository of raw data, and provide tactical guidance on how to act on findings.
- Leverage their work in order to increase adoption across their business partners, to drive real business value.
- Develop quantitative models, leveraging machine learning and advanced data analysis techniques.
- Work effectively in an agile environment to deliver machine learning increments and ensure that requirements are met. Ensuring timely delivery across supporting/dependant teams in support of agreed goals.
- Drive adoption of best practices and standards, influencing across the client teams - most likely working with a wider team of data scientists and data engineers.
- Strong partnership with business and engineering teams.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical experience in looking at data from multiple angles using both technical and statistical skills and deep product/business understanding.
- Significant experience building machine learning products.
- Strong background in at least one programming language, Python preferable.
- Experience with ML Frameworks: Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow or similar.
- Experience with SQL.
- Working with source control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Understanding and being able to communicate with data engineering or business intelligence teams - Explaining data requirements and being able to participate or communicate in ML Ops environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively while working remotely with globally distributed teams.
