Our client — Industrial Fire Prevention & Predictive Maintenance
About the Company
Our client owns the full stack from thermal-camera hardware to AI monitoring software, protecting high-risk industrial facilities before fires, equipment failures, and costly downtime happen. They already protect 50+ facilities across 9 countries — with zero customers lost in three years — and are just getting started in the US.
Despite a compact team, they've invested heavily in a mature, AI-powered GTM tech stack that most teams five times their size don't have. As one of the first commercial hires in the US, you won't be building from bare metal — you'll have serious tools from day one, direct access to leadership, and a real opportunity to shape how they sell here as the team scales.
About the Role
We're hiring the founding US Account Executives to build our client's sales engine from the ground up. This is a hunter's seat: you'll generate and close your own pipeline, primarily through your existing network and credibility in industrial markets, with growing support from inbound and SDR efforts as the team matures.
You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Implementation teams, and report into the SVP of Sales.
What you'll do:
Build and manage your own pipeline of industrial accounts from day one, using your personal and professional network as the primary engine
Run a full-cycle, consultative sales process with plant, operations, and EHS stakeholders — from first conversation through close and expansion
Translate a fire-prevention and predictive-maintenance value proposition into commercial terms that resonate with technical, risk-conscious buyers
Own accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene as you help define the sales process for the reps who come after you
Represent the company at trade shows, on customer sites, and in front of the partners and integrators who influence your market
What We're Looking For
A genuine hunter — someone who has built pipeline from scratch using their own network, not someone who has relied primarily on inbound or handed-off leads
Proven experience selling technical or safety/monitoring solutions directly into industrial plant environments, with real credibility among plant and operations buyers
A track record of consistent quota attainment on deals in the tens of thousands of dollars, with sales cycles measured in months
Comfort operating with ambiguity — the playbook isn't fully built yet, and you'll help write it
Disciplined CRM and forecasting habits
A strong plus if you bring:
Experience in industrial verticals such as wood processing, recycling, or paper
Relationships with insurers, brokers, integrators, or OEMs
A background in fire protection, industrial automation, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, machine vision, safety technology, or insurance loss control
Experience with multi-site account rollouts
What's on Offer
Uncapped variable compensation and meaningful equity — your earning potential is not capped
The chance to be a founding member of the US commercial team, with a clear path to leadership as the team scales
Direct influence on pricing, pitch, and go-to-market strategy from day one
A modern, AI-enabled sales stack that gives you real leverage in the field
Remote flexibility across the US, with travel to customer sites, trade shows, and team gatherings
Interview Process
Initial screening conversation
1-hour interview with the Sales hiring manager
Roundtable with three members of the GTM team
Role-play exercise
Final conversation with leadership
Our client is a mission-driven deep-tech company with proven product-market fit and measurable safety and uptime impact for its customers. Early commercial hires get high ownership, direct access to leadership, and a real opportunity to grow into leadership as the US team scales.
