Position overview

Are you an experienced engineer passionate about computer vision, machine learning, and embedded systems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment shaping the future of AI? If so, join us at Axelera AI!

You’ll manage technical interactions with customers in India, becoming their go-to expert and helping grow our Metis AI platform into a market leader.

The Field Application Team collaborates closely with Axelera’s R&D teams across Europe and India to ensure seamless technical support. Your primary role is guiding customers through evaluation, adoption, and deployment of Axelera AI hardware, including PCIe boards, modules, and vision gateways. Most hands-on work involves using our Voyager SDK to deploy AI models and pipelines on these platforms.

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers in India to understand their needs, acting as a technical expert on Axelera AI’s platform.

  • Address inquiries, provide product knowledge, and resolve technical issues directly or via R&D coordination.

  • Solid understanding of server systems, preferably with hands-on experience.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development on product launches and technology evangelism.

  • Support Sales in expanding existing accounts, identifying new customers, and defending design wins.

  • Track customer interactions, ensuring follow-ups and effective communication.

  • Gather and relay customer feedback to Product Management for product improvements.

  • Conduct competitive analysis through customer and industry insights.

  • Assist in creating clear, compelling, and instructive product documentation

  • Advocate for customers internally, ensuring responsiveness and driving product enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor and/or Artificial Intelligence industry in a customer-facing application development or technical support role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and internal teams effectively.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI technology.

  • Programming experience in a relevant area such as Python, C/C++, OpenCL, CUDA.

  • Experience using a high-level ML framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow

  • Solid understanding of embedded systems and practical experience with embedded hardware.

  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to travel to company sites as needed (expect 30%+ travel)

This is a remote position, based within or in close distance from the Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, or Pune hubs due to the proximity to our clients.
