Position

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to lead the Customer Products & Platform product area. This team owns Kueski’s customer-facing and partner-embedded experiences, the core product services powering journeys such as onboarding, transactions, and payments, and selected merchant experiences that directly shape the customer journey.

This is a hands-on player-coach role for a leader who combines strong customer and UX judgment, growth thinking, analytical strength, and technical fluency. Reporting to the VP, Head of Product, the Director will serve on Kueski’s Product leadership team, with meaningful authority over product strategy and prioritization and the opportunity to shape the broader Product organization.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy, Outcomes & Growth

  • Own the strategy, priorities, roadmap, and product decisions for Customer Experience & Platform, aligning with cross-functional leaders on major business, risk, and investment trade-offs.

  • Establish clear measures of success and improve end-to-end journey performance, including conversion, speed, reliability, engagement, and product quality.

  • Lead the 1→100 journey—scaling proven products and capabilities into broadly adopted experiences that balance customer outcomes, growth, risk, regulatory obligations, and sustainable economics.

Customer Experience & Product Quality

  • Simplify complex, high-stakes journeys into intuitive, trusted, and high-quality customer experiences.

  • Stay close to customer research, behavioral data, and key insights while helping teams build the same customer-centered habits.

  • Use analytics, experimentation, and AI across discovery, analysis, prototyping, and execution to improve product performance and how teams work.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner deeply with Engineering, Design, Data, Growth, Marketing, Risk, Lending, and Finance to deliver shared customer and business outcomes.

  • Work with Engineering on APIs, architecture, scalability, reliability, delivery quality, and technical investment trade-offs.

  • Create alignment around priorities, decision rights, and execution plans while communicating recommendations and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders.

Team & Organizational Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers and senior individual contributors, going deep with teams on critical journeys and decisions.

  • Build a scalable management layer by developing internal leaders and hiring where needed.

  • Raise the quality of product thinking and establish operating practices that help teams execute with accountability, focus, and speed.

Job Requirements
  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, with demonstrated Director-level scope leading complex product areas and multi-level Product teams.

  • Proven success scaling customer-facing products from early traction to broad adoption across owned web or mobile products and partner-embedded channels.

  • Experience managing both Product leaders and senior individual contributors, including developing leaders, hiring, coaching, and holding teams accountable for outcomes.

  • A strong track record of simplifying complex, high-stakes journeys into intuitive, trusted products in close partnership with Product Design.

  • Experience delivering measurable improvements in activation, conversion, adoption, engagement, retention, revenue, or other business outcomes.

  • Strong analytical judgment, including defining metrics, interrogating analyses, evaluating experiments, and making evidence-based decisions under uncertainty.

  • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to reason about APIs, data flows, architecture, reliability, and technical trade-offs without needing to write production code.

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI meaningfully in product work and help teams adopt AI-enabled ways of working.

  • Experience building products in fintech or another regulated consumer industry is strongly preferred.

  • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Diversity & Inclusion

At Kueski we embrace diversity in all forms, systematically promote equity, and ensure everyone feels included with a sense of belonging. We are committed to the full inclusion of all qualified candidates. As part of this commitment, we will make efforts to ensure reasonable accommodations are made during the hiring process.
