Remote Telehealth | Montana
Employment: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year + full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
What the Role Involves
This position is centered on direct therapy with individuals, couples, and families across Montana. You’ll meet with clients through secure video appointments and work with them on the issues they bring to treatment, including relationship difficulties, family concerns, communication problems, grief, anxiety, depression, and major life changes. You’ll have responsibility for your caseload and clinical decisions while working within established professional standards.
During the week, you may:
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions
- Complete initial evaluations and gather relevant client history
- Discuss treatment priorities and establish appropriate goals
- Use marriage and family therapy approaches suited to each case
- Reassess treatment when client circumstances or needs change
- Complete progress notes and other required clinical records
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related clinical field
- Active Montana LMFT license in good standing
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Strong knowledge of family systems, relationship dynamics, assessment, and treatment planning
- Comfortable providing services through telehealth platforms
- Ability to maintain professional documentation and manage a full-time caseload
- Reliable internet connection and private workspace for confidential sessions
- Experience with electronic health records preferred
