Location: Hillsborough, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: M–F, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary Range: $70K–$80K/year DOE + Benefits
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide direct patient care in a private outpatient practice by assisting with the execution of treatment plans designed to restore function, improve mobility, and support recovery. Working closely with the supervising Physical Therapist, this role includes leading patients through prescribed interventions, monitoring treatment response, and documenting progress in accordance with clinic standards. The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a professional and efficient treatment flow throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Implement PT-directed care plans
- Assist with therapeutic exercises
- Monitor and report patient progress
- Complete documentation accurately
- Maintain therapy areas and equipment
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistance
- Active PTA license in New Jersey
- Experience in outpatient setting preferred
- Organized and dependable
