About Us
HireHawk builds high-performing remote teams for U.S. and Canadian companies, connecting skilled professionals worldwide with meaningful, long-term work. We’re outcomes-first, detail-obsessed, and we hire people who take ownership—because our clients’ cases and timelines depend on it.

About the Role
As a Demand Writer Support Specialist, you’ll help drive a busy personal injury demand pipeline by reviewing medical records and bills, organizing exhibits, and preparing demand packages that are attorney-facing and submission-ready. This role is built for someone who knows PI demand best practices without hand-holding, and still maintain precision under pressure. You’ll operate inside a case management system (Filevine preferred) and collaborate within a structured workflow while owning your daily output. Expect a high-volume backlog and clear quality standards, your work will directly impact case momentum and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Independently review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation to ensure demand-ready accuracy
  • Verify billing and treatment timelines (dates, providers, gaps) and flag documentation issues before package assembly
  • Build and organize complete demand packages with properly labeled supporting exhibits
  • Identify missing records, bills, liens, or key documents and clearly communicate what’s needed to close the file
  • Navigate disorganized or incomplete case files to locate relevant documents quickly and confidently
  • Maintain consistent exhibit preparation and documentation standards suitable for attorney review
  • Support demand submission workflows using demand preparation software (EvenUp or similar)
  • Manage multiple active demands at once while meeting volume and deadline expectations
  • Track and update demand tasks and statuses inside the case management system to keep workflows moving
  • Contribute to process improvements that reduce rework and increase quality at scale

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Plaintiff personal injury experience (hands-on, not academic)
  • Direct experience drafting PI demand letters/packages (not only assisting an attorney)
  • Strong independent medical record and bill review skills (able to spot gaps, inconsistencies, and missing items)
  • Experience preparing demand packages from record intake through final assembly
  • Experience working in a case management system (Filevine strongly preferred)
  • Comfort operating in a high-volume environment with large backlogs and shifting priorities
  • Strong written English skills for attorney-facing work

Nice to Have:

  • EvenUp experience (or similar demand platforms)
  • Familiarity with California PI workflows and demand expectations
  • Proven ability to maintain quality while drafting 15–30+ demands per month
  • Confidence working independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience creating repeatable checklists/templates to improve speed and consistency

Benefits

  • Access to a $200k+ perk marketplace with instant discounts on 150+ services
  • Access up to 50% of approved earnings before payday (no credit checks or fees)
