Role Overview

The SEO Specialist / SEO / SEM Specialist will be responsible for improving search visibility, driving qualified traffic, and supporting the client’s broader digital marketing strategy. This role requires someone who is analytical, detail oriented, and updated on best practices across SEO, SEM, content optimization, and search engine algorithms. You will work to enhance both organic and paid search performance, ensuring strong rankings, optimized campaigns, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research and develop SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings
  • Optimize website structure, on-page elements, and content for search visibility
  • Plan, set up, and manage SEM campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads
  • Monitor website performance using analytics and search console tools
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO aligned content creation
  • Track and report on SEO and SEM KPIs, trends, and opportunities
  • Perform competitor analysis and identify gaps in search performance
  • Recommend actionable insights to improve conversions, traffic, and overall search efficiency

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2 to 5+ years of hands on experience in SEO, SEM, or related digital marketing roles
  • Strong knowledge of keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and link building strategies
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Familiarity with technical SEO concepts, site health audits, and performance optimization
  • Experience managing paid search campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and optimization
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
