About Us
HireHawk builds high-performing remote teams for U.S. and Canadian companies, connecting skilled professionals worldwide with meaningful, long-term work. We’re outcomes-first, detail-obsessed, and we hire people who take ownership—because our clients’ cases and timelines depend on it.
About the Role
You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, managing inbound leads and guiding callers through the intake process with confidence, empathy, and urgency. You will gather accident and case information, understand each prospect’s needs, explain how the firm can help, and convert qualified leads into signed clients.
This is a consultative sales role, not an administrative call-taking position. Success will be measured through responsiveness, intake quality, conversion performance, and the professional experience you create for every caller. The firm is strengthening its intake and conversion capacity, and it is open to training strong sales professionals who have not yet worked in personal injury law.
Responsibilities
- Own the prospective client’s first interaction with the firm and create a professional, reassuring first impression.
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls and leads in both English and Spanish.
- Ask thoughtful, structured questions to gather accurate accident, injury, treatment, and case information.
- Build trust quickly with people navigating stressful, sensitive, and potentially high-value legal situations.
- Evaluate prospective clients against the firm’s intake criteria and identify qualified case opportunities.
- Explain the firm, its intake process, and the next steps clearly without providing legal advice.
- Address questions and concerns using a consultative sales approach that helps qualified prospects make informed decisions.
- Convert qualified leads into signed clients and complete all required intake documentation accurately.
- Follow up promptly with qualified prospects who need additional time or information before signing.
- Maintain organized intake records, track conversion activity, and coordinate a smooth handoff to the appropriate legal team.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Demonstrated success in inbound sales, consultative sales, intake, customer service, call-center sales, or another high-volume phone-based conversion role.
- Strong persuasion, rapport-building, questioning, and active-listening skills.
- Confidence handling sensitive, high-stakes consumer conversations while remaining empathetic and professional.
- A stable employment history that demonstrates reliability, commitment, and enough time in previous roles to produce measurable results.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with a reliable computer, camera, headset, internet connection, and professional home-office environment.
Nice to Have:
- Three or more years of experience in intake sales, inbound sales, consultative sales, customer service, or a similar phone-based conversion role.
- Previous personal injury or legal intake experience.
- Experience working with a California law firm or another U.S.-based legal practice.
- Familiarity with legal intake, case-management, CRM, or electronic document-signing systems.
- A multiple-monitor home-office setup that supports simultaneous calling, research, and intake documentation.
