About the role
We are looking for an IT Systems & Automation Specialist to join our team and help keep our operational systems, integrations, automations, reporting, and telephony workflows running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with technology, and finding ways to make processes more efficient. You will work closely with different teams and provide end-user support while also building, maintaining, and improving system integrations and automations.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, adapt quickly, communicate effectively across teams, and take ownership of technical challenges from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and end-user support for business systems and operational tools.
- Support and maintain platforms such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, and Zoho Flow.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations and automated workflows using Pipedream, Make.com, or similar platforms.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data queries to support business decision-making.
- Work with CRM data, workflows, and automations to improve operational processes.
- Support and troubleshoot telephony and call-center systems, including IVR, call routing, and CCaaS platforms.
- Troubleshoot system and integration issues and identify practical solutions.
- Use basic SQL to query and work with data.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for research, troubleshooting, documentation, automation, and productivity.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining clear communication and follow-through.
- Document processes, solutions, and system changes as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in System Administration, Systems Integration, IT Systems, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience supporting business systems, applications, or integrations.
- Experience with Zoho Analytics or similar reporting/BI tools, including reports, dashboards, and data queries.
- Experience with Zoho CRM and Zoho Flow, or similar CRM and workflow automation platforms.
- Experience building or maintaining automations using Pipedream, Make.com, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with telephony and call-center systems, including IVR, call routing, or CCaaS platforms.
- Basic IT and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and/or Claude.
- Advanced English proficiency, with strong reading and speaking skills, for daily communication with English-speaking teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and proactively identify solutions.
- Adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a BPO, call-center, or other high-volume operational environment.
Benefits
- 100% remote role for candidates based in Nicaragua or Peru.
- Starting salary of $1,100 USD/month, with payments made in USD through Deel.
- Work Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, plus a half-day on the weekend.
