Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Software Quality Control Engineer to join a QC team. The
QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through
thorough manual and automated testing. The role involves analyzing requirements, preparing and executing test
cases, reporting defects, and working closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to deliver high
quality software.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to derive test scenarios.
• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing across multiple platforms.
• Execute manual test cases and log defects with clear steps, evidence, and priority in defect tracking tools
(e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to reproduce, analyze, and resolve defects.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Participate in review sessions for requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Provide accurate testing status updates and contribute to test planning and estimation.
• Support automation testing initiatives (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) when applicable.
• Follow defined QA processes, standards, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
• Perform published API testing (SOAP & REST) using tools like SoapUI and Postman

Qualification and Education Requirements:
• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any relevant IT Engineering
• ISQTB Certifications are preferred.
Minimum Experience/Skills Required:
• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Control testing.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
• Strong knowledge in preparing and executing manual test cases.
• Hands-on defect management and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Hands-on API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
• Hands-on automation testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
