finmid is on a mission to build an embedded lending infrastructure that unlocks growth for global platforms and 32 million European businesses. We are the fastest-growing European fintech in 2025 and are trusted by Europe's most ambitious platforms like Wolt, Delivery Hero, Just Eat Takeaway, Guesty and FREENOW.
Join our global team of builders who are nerdy, relentless, and obsessed with solving hard problems that others will not.
About the opportunityThe team you’ll manage exists for one sentence: every merchant a platform trusts keeps borrowing from us, at a price we set, without anyone touching it.
Our platform customers onboard the merchant and do the KYB. Everything after that is ours: whether a merchant gets an offer, whether they accept it, whether the money reaches them in minutes, and whether they come back for the next one.
You own all of it and every product inside it. Today that is cash advances and loans repaid out of a merchant's sales. In testing, it is vehicle financing for fleet operators and inventory-backed credit lines for e-commerce merchants. What we build after that is your call, along with which markets and verticals we go into next.
You will also own pricing. Risk sets the guardrails, Finance sets the margin bands, and inside them, how we price and what we test is yours.
You will work with the founders, with Risk, with Finance, with the platforms themselves, and with engineers and designers.
In this role, you willOwn the funnel end to end: eligibility, acceptance, payout, renewal, and the numbers behind each.
Turn company strategy into product strategy, on a six-month horizon, steered in six-week blocks.
Own expansion. New platforms, new countries, and new use cases held together end-to-end.
Own pricing. How we structure it, how we test it, and what we do with the result.
Be the front door for Commercial, ops and our platform partners, so the team can build.
Set the bar for discovery and delivery. The team drives both. You make sure work starts from a real problem and ends with something we can measure.
Get the data we need in from the platform, a public register, or the merchant, in that order.
5 to 8 years in product, at least two owning a funnel or conversion metric you were personally judged on.
Real evidence of moving a funnel: experiments you ran, what happened, and which ones failed.
You know how to test a price. Not credit modelling; we have a Risk team for that. Experiment design: what you change, who you change it for, how long you wait, and how you tell a real result from noise.
You have taken a product into new markets or new segments end-to-end, with legal, ops, engineering, and an outside partner all needing to land at once.
The nerve to push back on a partner. Platforms are our customer and our supplier at the same time, and not every request is good for the merchant.
You still do the work yourself: the spec, the data, and clicking through the merchant flow as a first-time user.
You write clearly. Most decisions here are made and defended in writing.
Fluency in English.
A bias for ownership: you treat the business like it's your own.
Nice to have: hands-on pricing experience, time in a marketplace, platform or embedded finance business, or a stint as the only product person in a company. You do not need a lending background; the credit expertise sits elsewhere in the company.
Growth pathAt finmid, growth follows ownership and impact rather than a fixed path. This role sits at the center of how the company makes money, so the surface area is large from day one. Depending on your strengths, it can grow towards broader product leadership as the team scales or towards deep ownership of pricing and the commercial model.
