Description:

The role is called “Flex Physical Therapist” for a reason - your flexibility and resilience is critical!

  • You thrive in situations requiring you to constantly adapt and evolve. Change is not a scary word to you, and you want to continually improve yourself, your profession, and healthcare as a whole.

  • Our Flex hour model: As a non-exempt employee, you will be scheduled to work between 25-40 hours/week (with optional overtime if offered), which fluctuates depending on member needs. You will be notified of your schedule outlook at least one month in advance and fully confirmed 2 weeks in advance. This is not a full time, part time, or PRN position - it is a Flex position where employees must be able to commit to a variable schedule.

  • You embrace technology-forward care delivery, utilizing telehealth, in-app messaging, and a variety of digital tools to serve members at significant scale.

What You’ll Accomplish
  • Evaluate and treat patients remotely utilizing a variety of digital tools to manage care and oversee technology outputs.

  • Communicate effectively to drive member engagement and articulate clinical reasoning to drive product development.

  • Knowledgeable about biopsychosocial model, patient-centered MSK care, behavior change models, pain neuroscience education, and evidence-informed practice.

  • Provides high caliber of service resulting in high customer satisfaction and improved clinical outcomes.

  • Manages patients safely and efficiently given a large and varied caseload.

Basic Qualifications
  • You have 2-4 years of clinical physical therapy experience practicing in an orthopedics setting, evaluating and treating a variety of MSK conditions.

  • At least 1 year of in person Pelvic Health clinical experience and completion of:

    • Herman & Wallace Level 1 and/or Level 2b

    • APTA CAPP-Pelvic Level 1 and/or Level 2 Pelvic Health training

    • Evidence In Motion Pelvic Health I and/or II

    • Herman & Wallace PRPC

    • ABPTS Pelvic & Women’s Health Clinical Specialist

    • Evidence in Motion Pelvic Health Specialist Certification

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).

  • Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in at least 1 state of the United States. Ability to complete required documentation to secure additional state licenses upon receipt of offer, within a timely manner.

  • Willing to work across time zones to serve a geographically diverse member population.

  • Serve as a visible member of our care team, which requires your name and photograph/likeness to appear in our product and associated marketing materials.

  • You must be able to deliver telehealth services in a private, professional space with reliable, strong internet connectivity and within the United States.

  • Able to work evenings.

  • Your current and foreseeable future state of residence is within: Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin, South Carolina, West Virginia, Vermont, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Alabama, Kansas, Puerto Rico, District of Columbia, New Jersey, Ohio, Arizona, Montana, Utah, Oklahoma, Alaska, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Washington

  • Telehealth: Demonstrates excellent and clear decision making to evaluate, treat, and manage MSK members, including some pelvic health, utilizing a biopsychosocial model as appropriate.

  • Effective Patient Management: Manages a large and varied caseload of members safely and efficiently, utilizing a variety of digital tools to manage care and communicate effectively.

  • Effective Communication: Able to communicate effectively and clearly, both written and verbally, with members, colleagues, and other professionals.

  • Change Agility: Highly adaptable to taking on new workflows, processes and challenges within a fast-paced environment by employing critical thinking and creative problem-solving.

4. Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to work weekends

  • Additional certifications in orthopedics, pain science, or related specialties

  • Medical fluency in Spanish (written and verbal)
